This is a copy of what she sent me via email: Regarding your question, the charge its 800USD per the rent of the Tropical rest as a private event, it's an outside rest and we rent it for groups larger than 35 people, in case that you have a smaller group, you can pay for the remaining 18USD and still have it. The charge included the open bar 4 hours, the special set up (table clothes, ribbons and chair covers) and the service as a private event during the dinner.
  2. I was wondering about you renting out the Brazilian steakhouse. Will you have the entire restaurant to yourself? How much did that cost? Are you able to bring a a DJ? We want to do our dinner there, but I didn't realize you could rent the whole restaurant out. We only have about 25 guests, so maybe this is not an option for us.   3. I am going to have between 20-30 people and my plans are similar to yours. My ceremony is at 5:00pm and I wanted to do a cocktail hour on the beach following my garden ceremony so guests would have something to do while we all took pics on the beach. My groom and I are meeting at 4pm to do our own pics before the ceremony. I plan on having dinner at the Brazilian at the earlier seating time which is 6:30, but depending on how long our pics on the beach with everyone take, I hope they don't mind if we get seated a bit later. Does anyone know how strict they are on this? I emailed Gabriella about it, but she has not responded. I am still not sure what we will do after dinner. I am stuck between just getting whoever wants to continue the party to meet up at one of the bars or at the disco, or actually doing something at the aqua bar for a couple of hours with a DJ. My day is only two months away!!! AAAHH!! I really need to figure this out!! I am using Sascha Gluck (Wedding Photography for Cancun and Riviera Maya, Mexico Toll free USA/Canada 1800-619-3957). I am probably going to use him for 3 hours and this package is around $650. Check out his site blog, his work is really great from what I have seen.

Michelle, how did you coordinate everything with your photographer on your wedding day at the Lindo? Thanks in advance! I hope you ended up getting in touch with the WC. I emailed her last week and still have not heard back, but my wedding is not until May. Your date is fast approaching and I hope your planning is coming along great!! Can't wait to read your review!!

  14. I am getting married at Del Mar the day after you! You are way ahead of me on planning though....i still need to get a final count on guests. How many guests did you have? Is it true they only let you reserve the tropical restaurant if you have more than 50 guests?
