Hello! We got engaged last June and stated planning right away. I specialized in Event/Wedding Planning in School so I have a bit of an added bonus. We took our site visit last September. Our wedding planning is Gaby from Baja Wedding, who is simply the BEST! Photographer-Dino Gomez, DJ-Ricardo and Makeup/Hair-Suzanne Morel. We are having the ceremony on the Gazebo and the reception on the Oceana terrace with the Caribbean buffet. We have 43 booked and receive our invites today. Our wedding party is HUGE, we have 13 people!!! Any other questions feel free to ask! Have a good day! Kristy

  4. I have 43 booked to our September wedding at Dreams and the invites are yet to go out. We are expecting up to 75. I am wondering how much everyone is spending on Welcome Bags? I know they can get really expensive, but it is such a nice touch for guests. Thanks for the advice ladies!
  5. Can someone tell me what a DB photoshoot is? Thanks K

  8. Wow! Congrats your wedding looked so beautiful and very original. Few questions; What appies/dinner did you have at your wedding? How did you find the bars/nightclub at Dreams? Did your guests go to one at the resort after the reception? Thank you!
  9. Hello, I have heard alot about a private "Casino Night" that brides/grooms can host as a welcome party. Does anyone have any info on this? Prices? Also, I am having a tough time deciding if we need a dance floor on the Oceana Terrace, any advice? Did anyone do the pub crawl, any info on this? Has anyone been to Dreams in September? How hot does it get? Any advice would be much appreciated!
  10. Hello and Welcome! I am a fellow Vancouver bride as well and I am more than happy to help you with whatever questions you may have! My fiance and I are getting married at Dreams Los Cabos, we have Gaby from Baja Weddings as our coordinator and have a lust of other vendors and services that we are using. 11. Hello future/past Brides! I am (almost) 5 months away from our destination wedding in Cabo. My fiance and i did our site visit at the end of last year but still have a few questions; -@ Dreams, how is the nightclub? We are a little concerned wit our reception ending at 10:30pm. Our friends will want to continue the party. -We are not sure about a "Welcome Party", has anyone had their group meet for drinks at one of the bars then join in on the night shows at Dreams? -Has anyone sampled the "Caribbean theme dinner" buffet? Or any of the other food at Dreams? -How many will the hotel restaurants accommodate? -Any info on the activity selection at Dreams? Thank you so much!!! Kristy

If you have a chance, can you post a review about the food/activities and the nightclub. Much appreciated! Kristy
  13. Did you have the bon-fire at Dreams? We are wondering what to do for our "Welcome Party" we already have so much going on with wedding activities, we don't want to overwhelm our guests. We looked into having a bon-fire at Dreams, but the offered us a "Mexican style fireplace" for the beach at a rate of $150. It's not quite what we had in mind (we wanted an open flame to make smores etc.) Thanks for your help! Kristy
  14. wow, thanks for the photo's! Can you tell me what you thought of the food, drinks and entertainment? All the best, Kristy

My fiance and I wanted to do that until we saw a photo of a previous bonfire there. It was a mexican fireplace, we wanted something like a real bonfire that our guests could sit around.
  16. Thank you for your help! Few more questions; *Has anyone ever done a "signature drink" at Dreams before? *Have any previous brides used a slide show during their reception? *Any ideas for a welcome party (no food, just drinks/entertainment) *Can anyone recommend a good minister? Thank you!
  17. Hi Girls, Few questions for previous DREAMS Cabo brides; *I have head mixed reviews of Suzanne Morel, any suggestions? *We have been told that our wedding will have to end at 10:30pm (oceana terrace) did anyone proceed to the "club" after? What is the nightclub like at Dreams? *I am not sure about a cake yet, I have been told that it will melt and cakes aren't that popular. Any suggestions? *Has anyone used Gilda for their photographer? Thank you for all your help! Kristy
  18.
