We are getting married in December as well and have been waiting for what seems like forever. We went to about 5 different travel agents last week and haven't heard back from any of them yet. hey ladies!!!!! sorry, been finishing up a big project for school so i've been a little busy!!! but im here now! All the logos look great!!! Good job Christina!! To be perfectly honest though, im not too too crazy about the three starfish in the most recent logo..... i like either the just the starfish logo on the first page, the single palm tree (very first graphic), or the most recent graphic with the palm trees but maybe with only one star fish?? like the other ladies, i also think i like the fonts from the first graphics better too! One question for Christina - where were you able to find the the palm tree graphic from the first logo? and what style is the font?? I love love love that look and was thinking of using it for out own monogram!! Thanks

Hi! Another Punta Cana bride who may be interested! I'm not sure exactly how many we will need, but if you need the order before I know guest numbers for sure I will just take 50! My vote is for the first palm tree logo or the starfish. But really, I'm pretty easy going! Let me know more as you start working out the logistics! I think if you are married by the judge it is a much more formal, "by-the-book" ceremony. My fiance and I are also hoping to be able to write our own vows/ceremony so we are planning to do all the legal stuff in Canada before we leave and will have a "symbolic" ceremony in the Dominican. As far as we are concerned our "real" wedding will be the one in the Dominican. This way, instead of the judge, one of the WC is the "officiant", and I believe the ceremony is much more flexible. I haven't verified this yet, but from what I have gathered about what others have said, this is how I have come to understand it... Does anyone else have any insight on this topic?!

I have shorter hair now and was thinking of using one of the Jessica Simpson clip-in hair extensions for the wedding. Its synthetic so it resists heat and humidity (woohoo!) However, when I had longer hair and was in the Caribbean 2 years ago silicone serum was my friend!! Hi Steph! No, there is no required time you have to be in the Dominican before you can legally get married there. I think 3 days is a requirement for Mexico but definitely not the Domincan!! :::2010 BRIDES::: Does anyone have their dates confirmed for 2010 yet? I have contacted them to secure a date for Jan 2010 (as we are trying to get a group rate organized) and they have told me they are not booking 2010 weddings until April of this year. However, some girls on another forum have their dates for the Majestic Colonial booked for all the way up to May 2010. Just wondering if anyone here has their date already or has had issues confirming a 2010 date? Thanks ladies!
