But we are going to celebrate July 5 as our Anniversary. I just remembered I need to get the lincense! Uhhh! We are all getting so close girls!!!

Hi ladies! I am a curvy girl too! I got called "thick" a lot in school. Ha! I have been meaning to post, but up to now, just been stalking. But I have enjoyed reading all your thoughts. It is nice to know that not all brides are stick thin. Not that there is anything wrong with that. I am just far from it. I have had issues finding the right undergarments, etc. It took me about a month to find my boostier. But now I have my dress and everything. My fav stores are NY and CO and Marshalls...they are so great! I am currently a size 12-14. I am top heavy so with dresses and swimsuits I am 14. Pants a 12. My wedding dress is a 20. Why do they make wedding dress sizes so funky? But I love Mori Lee! She is my dress! So I was looking at the Newport News Bandeaux SwimDress and I know a few of you have that. What color did you get? And you find they give good support? I am a DD...so need all the help I can get. Thanks! Great Thread! Thanks for posting!

Jennie, your story makes me want to cry. I am so sorrry you had such inconsiderate people helping you "clean up" and end the night. That is really unfortunate you lost items that you wanted to keep. You have every right to feel hurt! I would be livid!!! You put so much time, energy and money into this fun occasion....that is just such a shame that the people left there to help were so oblivious and unconcerned. Hang in there sweetie!

Thanks! Yeah, they did send me pics. But the flowers I have seen from the girls on here look so much prettier than the pics they sent to me...example is Kathy's flowers! I love them! Kath, what kind of flowers did you have? 3 weeks! Woo hoo! So quick! I have 2 weeks longer then you, and man I am so excited! your time is going to fly by from here! Are you all ready, Akbeach?

I guess they don't even direct you as to where to go for good shots/good positions, and the people who shoot the pics are not even 'professionals' they are just random workers with cameras! These are your WEDDING photos- not just some vacation shots- I would say do anything to make them the best! We had my aunt take them- she is a professional and was also a guest so we didn't have to pay the $300 fee. User beware- in my humble opinion! Here is a link to my pics if anyone would like to request to be a 'member' of my page: http://mushrosinmexico.shutterfly.com/ I totally agree~! I did my research and saw many people's pics that were absolutely horrible with the resort photog! We are talking cheesy poses (hello motorboat!? WTF!) , no creativity, etc. Even their website is awful! Sorry to sound harsh...but we refused to use this service! From the pics we saw, It was substandard! IMO they need a new on site photographer. Maybe they have improved since the pics I saw....but if they haven't, then buyer beware! Trevess, We are using my Aunt too, a pro photog. How funny! We are so lucky, huh? Very cool!

I am afraid that I wont have the support I need so my girls are looking good... and not to mention no peep shows. -

Good ideas girls. Yeah, laying out with the suit tucked in should work, but not so much for walking around....wardrobe malfunction!? Also, I plan to wear lots of sunscreen (always do with this Colorado Sun!) so good call. Yep! One month to go, so I just started tanning like 2-3 times week...hopefully i can build up a good base. I should probably look for a strapless suit, but I don't know if it will be enough support...I am top heavy. I have been reading on here to see what kind of suits might work. I wll have to look into that Bandaeux!? I saw that on another thread. So thanks for all the suggestions....you girls are so helpful! Love this site! Does the make up thing work? Maybe a bronzer? Although, FI is wearing a near white suit...so I am thinking that could be a bad combo, don't want to get any on him. I agree...about the spray on tans...I am so scared of those...did you see that one Friends when Ross got his? "I'm an Eight!!!" -
It just occurred to me. I got two really cute swim suits and they are Halter top styles. Those are typically the only kind I wear to support "the girls". I was reading another post about wearing a strapless suit, but I already spent some bucks on the ones I have without thinking about the consequences. OMG! Tan lines! This for some reason did not occur to me! Helllooo!!! Strapless wedding gown and the beach/pool on the days before, hmm those don't mix too well, huh? Any ideas on what to do if I get some tan lines? Any products or tricks you all can share? I am currently tanning to get some color...no suit of course...ha! But any thoughts on how to cover those suckers up just in case? Thanks!

We are doing our's for about $3,500 for 100 guests. That includes a nice City Center, a kick a$$ band (this was a splurge, but we had to have them!), Mexican Buffet with staff and bartender, all linens/glasses/tableware, liquor, cake , centerpieces and favors. I originally wanted to do a picnic in the park, and once I got into my research, this is what we have come to. You also have to think of parking which was a big problem for us to try to do it at someone's house. So we went with a Rec Center that has a really nice room and a full kitchen and of course parking! We are calling our's a Celebration...more of a party than a reception. $1000...will be tight...

We have 30 ppl coming to our DW and will be inviting around 100-150 to the AHR. All those coming to the DW are invited to the AHR. We originally invitied about 50 to the DW (we used evite.com) to see who is coming...30 are able to come. Based on the evites and all those who booked through our TA, We sent Boarding pass invites to the 30 that are coming to Mexico. And for the AHR, we are doing annoucements and a invite to the AHR combined. Our AHR is for all those CLOSE friends and fam that can't make it to Mexico and all those who did make it too. I plan to have an A and B list...those we really want there will be A's, then we will see who all is coming and maybe invite more on the B list. We look at the AHR as a party to celebrate...we even call the wording a celebration and leave off the word reception. We are doing super casual Mexican buffet, cake and an awesome fun band. Basically just a party. Just for fun! Hope this helps!
