Well girls, I am so happy to hear you all are going through the same thing I am. That is a huge relief! It is so funny that we as women, know who we want and that we ask them as soon as possible to be by our sides, but our men don't seem to get that quite as clearly as we do. I think they must lack that sense of urgency. I think as women we are so up on planning and getting the day perfect and that goes for the people we ask too. Men are just so laid back and figure, I will do it when I do it. That goes for some men...I do know a few exceptions. Well, I wil just have to let this one go. That means, ehh-hhe hum, if he doesn't ask in the next month, I will tell him, "ok, you had your chance, I guess I will ask them for you." jk But I am glad for the support and thanks to all for calming me down. It is nice to know I am not alone on this one!

So I am so frustrated! My FI has not asked his brother and Best Bud to be in our wedding yet to be his groomsmen! I have asked him a few times and he says he is waiting for the right moment and wants it to be special! He thinks they already know, and maybe they do, but it still annoys me that it is not finalized! They are already booked for our MX wedding and all, but I am just thinking this is so weird and I don't get it! It just makes me feel awkward that his GM might not know they are in the wedding, what if they think, "hmm, maybe we are not." It just seems silly he is waiting for the right moment and I found the right moment over 3 months ago!

That is a great idea! We are getting married July 5 at the Lindo. I didn't realize that the Steakhouse was at the Maya. We had planned doing the Stkhs too! The bar idea is awesome. I thought the Maya was an upgrade and you cant use their facilites wo paying. So it is inc in the Lindo fees? Also I have had next to zero contact with the coordinators other than questions here and there, but nothing on planning. They said they do all that 3 months before. Since i already know I want the Steakhouse, do I need to reserve it? DO you think someone esle will have already snagged it 3 months before?

I think there are lots of things you can do...think about a color scheme, start looking at places. Narrow down a region and then start to research specific hotels and resorts. I have found that working with a travel Agaent is best. I went with Destination Weddings.com They have for the most part been really good. I would recommend to wait on looking for your dress. I got mine early on, and now wish I had waited a bit. I see so many other dresses I like, but since I pulled the trigger, there is no turning back! I feel kinda stuck. I really loved my dress when I first got it, but now when I see other's (and you will on this site) it makes me wish I had waited. Oh well. And the fashion seasons will be changing soon so all the new styles will be coming out. You will have that happen a few more times over the course of your engagement. Good luck! And congrats! Enjoy!

So I sent out an electronic Save the Date through my TA. And I also am sent an evite to track how many people plan on going. This will allow me to spend more on invitations, since I will be sending 2 types, one with an announcemnt and invite to AHR, and one with both an invite and AHR invite. Eek!

DO any of you ladies know where to look to find some good workout routines? I just joined the gym, ordered Nutrisystem and joined a Biggest Losers Club at work. I have a goal in mind of losing 30-40lbs before the big day! I hope I can do it! All to fit in my dress for my wedding which is in 6 months! Woo Hoo!
