  1. OH MY GOD! This has been the best 3 hours of my life...LOL....maybe not...but you know. I read all 21 pages while at work! I loved reading all these would/wouldn't do. KEVSGIRL: Can I see a pic of your wedding topper that offended people?
  2. Our photographer is doing our pictures for free also, and since they are family friends we will probably pay for him and his family to eat, drink, and be marry.....but I like the massage idea....I bet his wife would LOVE that. Hummmm...thanks for the idea!
  3. I was going to use tote bags, but the guest list has gotten larger, so I have a feeling tote bags are not going to be the most cost effective for us. If you have bought gable boxes for your OOT bags, please let me know where you purchased from. I have found a few places, but I would like to get them from somewhere that somebody has used. Please Help! Thanks in advance!
  4. WOW! Your pictures turned out really good! Looks like ya'll had some fun! I LOVE the jetski pic. Did you actually ride it with your dress on or did you just sit on it?

Welcome to the forum! Hope you walk away with many ideas and who knows...maybe some friends! Good luck planning!

  7. That is a cute dress. You did good with the color too! Same color as mine! I hope your girls like it!
  8. I knew from the moment I smacked him on the butt with a magazine that Jeremy was the man for me! At the time we were both with somebody, but had mutual friends. He was always at my work, a local motorcycle accessory shop, and he had just gotten a new bike and his roomate worked there with me. Jeremy and I were always hanging out and became really good friends and over time became lovers....only after we got rid of our girlfriend/boyfriend. He is the most amazing man. Our first date...if you would call it that...was Cinco de Mayo 2006. We moved in together February 2007, had a baby October 2007, and after all this he still haden't proposed to me, we had talked about it and everything, so I knew I wasn't the only one thinking about it. On our 2 year anniversary I went out and got him a ring and proposed to him. He couldn't believe it and was like "you like doing things backwards, don't you?" I told him I was tired of waiting...LOL! So, after looking (and making slide shows, inside joke) of rings that I liked, we finally decided on which one to get. It was a beautiful Taccori sapphire and diamond ring. I couldn't belive this was the one he chose for me....because it was the most expensive ring I had picked out. Once he got it back from being sized to fit my finger he planned a romantic ride, motorcycle ride, and a hike up through Panther Crreek. We hiked all the way to the waterfall and that is where he proposed to me. It was very romanitical for him! And it was SO him. Unfortunally we were robbed while leaving dinner earlier this month, and no longer have my dream ring! Still waiting on the ATL police department...not holding my breath though...it's gone!
  9. You should have made a note saying "May cause tears!" I shouldn't have read this while at work, I started to tear up! You are one of the most romantic guys ever! Reading this makes my proposal story seem so....blah! HaHa! But, Congrats on the engagement! Good luck planning! Now I think I may have to post my engagement story....just to see the reactions of all my BDW guys/gals!
  10. Kids will be attending our wedding, I know I can't find a babysitter for a week. If you don't have kids then it would be hard for you to understand. And my normal babysitters are my mom and FI mom, and they both are attending the wedding. So, I feel if my kids are going to be there, I can't tell the rest of the guests that thiers can't come. I'm with the other girls, if you want an ADULT ONLY wedding, then you need to bring it up to your family ASAP. You may find that people you thought would be there may not come if their kids aren't welcome. Good Luck with your decision, and keep us posted!
  11. My FI and I want to do the sand ceremony and since our "theme" is starfish we would like a starfish shaped bottle. I have contacted a local glass blower to see if we can have it custom made, but he hasn't gotten back with me. I have googled till my fingers fell off, and found nothing. I was wondering if anybody here has seen one. Please help!
  12. Amanda! What can I say that hasn't been said already! Oh....how about this...you look radiant, smashing, loverly, and I could go on! Everything looks great! Congrats! Can't wait to read your review!

  14. OH....I am totally with you on this one! I come to work to do my job....not to make friends! I do have a couple of older ladies (early 60's...I'm 25) that I hang out with on lunch from time to time. But nothing more then that. People think I'm crazy for not trying to befriend others...but I have my own friends outside of work. I really could care less about these people. The managers have favorites and those are their "go to guys" so I don't even try. It's not worth my time! So I say screw your boss and keep doing what you're doing!

God I hope so, cause they are so cute, they would look good with a little denim mini and pink sweater....or something!

I like them both. I guess I need to loose my weight and get to trying them on ASAP so I can choose!

Ok dont judge, I feel bad and selfish now but I have to make some cuts somewhere... It's not selfish...if your guests didn't know they were getting them in the first place, then it's not hurting anything. If you can't afford it you can't afford it. What if you were to just create one for the important people....mom/dad/sister/brother. just a thought! Good luck!
  18. I really love all the pictures. And I love the random cruise ship in the background of one of them! It looks like everything went well. Thanks for posting this awesome review. I was going to include Aloe in my OOT bag, but now I'm not going to! Thanks!

  20. Thanks for all your input ladies! I will be wearing the Pink ones for my BD pics and the Pink & White polka dot ones for the actual wedding! I am so glad I decided to get both of them when I found them! Thanks everybody!
