  3. Calia....thanks for posting that. I didn't even think to google the story. It's truely an amazing story.

  5. Jess! Those are amazing! She did a fantastic job....but hey look at what she was working with...the camera LOVES you two!
  6. So, apperently Zooey is getting upset that people are mistaking Katy Perry for her. They live two VERY different lives. I can see a major resemblence....Can You? A: Zooey B: Katy A: Zooey B: Katy A: Katy B: Zooey A: Katy B: Zooey A: Katy B: Zooey A: Zooey B: Katy
  7. That is why I wanted to share this story....to remind us that we are very lucky and that we need to live our lives to the fullest. I didn't mean to make anybody cry....it was just a touching story and it was about a wedding....lol....so I wanted to share.
  8. This made me think....if I were in her position, I probably would have let the cancer beat me and not had my wedding. She was a strong girl and I am happy that she got to marry her love. It's sad that she passed so quickly after the wedding.
  9. Awe, Hun! I'm sorry about your 10 invites. Glue dots are super strong....at least you know that they won't come open...lol. At least you got to have your wine!
  10. That dress is beautiful. You should have no problem in selling it. Have you decided on a new dress?
  11. So I got this email from my FMIL and my eyes got very watery....I thought I would share this great life lesson! The girl in the picture is Katie Kirkpatrick, she is 21. Next to her, her fiancé Nick, 23. the picture was taken shortly before their wedding ceremony, held on January 11, 2005 in the US. Katie has terminal cancer and spends hours a day receiving medication. In the picture, Nick is waiting for her on one of the many sessions of chemo to end. In spite of all the pain, organ failures, and morphine shots, Katie is going along with her wedding and took care of every detail. The dress had to be adjusted a few times due to her constant weight loss. An unusual accessory at the party was the oxygen tube that Katie used throughout the ceremony and reception as well. The other couple in the picture are Nick's parents; excited to see their son marrying his high school sweetheart. Katie, in her wheelchair with the oxygen tube, listening to a song from her husband and friends. At the reception, Katie had to take a few rests, the pain not allowing her to be able to stand for long periods. Katie died five days after her wedding day. Watching a woman so ill and weak getting married and with a smile on her face makes us think....Happiness is reachable, no matter how long it lasts. We should stop making our lives so complicated.
  12. You sound greatful, but I can understand the frustration. Booking this close to the date may cause unwanted/uneeded stress on you! Hopefully you won't have any last minute guest changes after today!
  13. I think the frontal view of the hair on the Maggie site is a different style then that of the back view of the dress. I like the way the back view model is wearing it!

  15. Pink, Cyan, and Yellow....this was my inspiration pic! [/color]

I couldn't figure out how big it was....so if it's to big...MODs please size it down!
  18. What bothers me, I think, is the fact that she wouldn't be happy with a wedding that cost 20k. She wants more. I think if my budget were 20k I would make do with what I could afford. I agree she has a sence of humor about everything. Oh well, best of luck....hope she gets the wedding of her dreams.....ALLLLLLL of them.
  19. I think almost everybody on here would agree with me.....go ahead and use them. Lots of girls use them on EVERYTHING. Put it on your OOT stuff proudly!
  20. Amanda....Anne Rice didn't do the Twilight series. I think Jax suggested them since you liked the Vampire books Anne Rice did. Twilight is all about vampires!
  21. I feel your pain girl! you spent hours and hours making, what I'm sure is beautiful, invitations....why would you want to put ugly ass stamps on them.
  22. Jax...I am in the processes of trying to get ahold of the twilight books. I saw the movie first...which is a BIG no no for me...I normally don't do that, but I had to watch the movie first to make sure it was okay for my daughter to watch it. After seeing the first movie, I changed my Facebook status to: "Anybody have the Twilight books I can borrow" HaHa. My cousin is going to loan them to me...just a matter of when can I get over to her house to get them. I SO want to read them...I don't want to have to wait for the movies to come out to see what happens next. This Twilight craze came so fast.....it just HIT me.

But in the first like two pages it's all 'he lunged his 'member' into blah blah blah' you get the point! I was like...do I read past this part....or put it down. The further you read the harder it is to put down....which is how it is with any good book...IMO. My FI asked me to read them to him at night (because he HATES reading with a passion but sees how um...into the mood after I put the book down)....then he gets all frisky.
  24. It is an excellent series! The first book is the best, IMO. The first is VERY erotic. The first time i read these books I was like 16 and found them in my mom's library (her closet) and thought they would be interesting because I too LOVE Anne Rice. My mom saw me reading them and was like....you can't read those....I was like to late...I'm on the third book. She giggled and walked away. Then last year I asked to borrow them from her so I could read them again and she just went out and bought me the set.
