  1. Jill: We have not booked yet. The travel agent we went to talk to was so busy we couldn't even get in to talk to anyone. I sent an e-mail to Yaly this week..haven't heard back yet...to see how busy the first week in May was. I really don't want to arrive down there and have to wait to the last day of our vacation to get married. How bout you?
  2. What a simple and beautiful setup. I love the hanging stars!! I really wish my resort in Cuba did the canopies but unfortunately they don't.
  3. Found this website and I had to share with all you brilliant ladies. You'll have to do a little exploring but it is worth it. From Lifesaver wrappers...invitation...pocket fold...chair numbers...chocolate wrappers etc. Definitely worth checking out. DIY Wedding: crafts, templates and Links - Windows Live Hope it helps someone.
  4. Welcome and happy planning
  5. Welcome!!! My friend got married in Vegas last year and we had a blast. Happy planning!!

  7. What a cute dress. I would have never thought of going to Sears.

  13. BillysBride: It is a wonderful thing that you're doing...I would surely need 3 boxes of kleenex if I attempted that myself.
  14. All I can say is WOW!!! You have so many unique and creative ideas. I'm sure everyone will appreciate all the hard work you've done. Congrats on everything.
  15. Glad she found the dress!!!! You must be relieved!! I looked at the stores just in case and your MOH was right...none of them had it. Enjoy the BOTTLE of wine.
  16. You can always just buy a cork at Home Depot. They sell many sizes in the Hardware Dept....usually in the same aisle with the bins of nuts, bolts etc.
  17. Sarah: I'll keep an eye out for the dress anyways. I'll write down the sizes each store has...when you finally do find out the size I can go back for you and get it...no big deal...the farthest store is only 15 mins away from me.

  19. Awesome...I love the simple lines and the beading is beautiful
  20. Jill: I've heard the same thing about the 2010 rates not being finalized yet. The average from Toronto is around $1400. Some companies offer the early booking bonus/every 16th passenger is free. Some have a price guarantee program (if the price goes up yours stays the same) and some don't. Most require you to have 10 people put a deposit down. Those are some of the things your TA should tell you. Maybe you should talk to the TA's before booking your wedding. So that you know the exact days you would be arriving on...I'm sure you know you have to be in Cuba 72hrs before they marry you. I'm pretty positive we're going to do the legal ceremony down there. Just a word of advice...if this is your first e-mail to Yaly it may take here up to a week to get back to you.
