Hello BDW Brides, I've seen, posted in other wedding forums (which shall not be named), after all is said and done, sections where brides tell you what they are glad they had done for their weddings, and what they had wished they had done different. I find this very useful information, but I don't see it often, and I'm hoping that gals on this forum can do the same! So, please, lets hear it!

I second the Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere speaker! We use it all the time! We use it camping, at social gatherings, and just recently while cleaning the garage. It's affordable, easy to use, has great sound, and fantastic battery life. It comes with a padded carrying case that holds it all and is, therefore, perfect for travel.

I have no problems with doing a BD shoot. He'd love the gift! But, when I started doing research on photographers in the Bay Area, I was shocked at how much it costs! It's just not in the ole wedding budget right now. Maybe I'll hold off and get it as a 1st anniversary gift instead. LIW, thanks for the link! It will give some ideas of what I'd want in the BD pictures. She's great. Wish I lived up in Canada!

We are having our reception at a restaurant; therefore, for our first dance we are going to have it at the wedding site. It's a private estate and we will have a guitarist playing music, so our Wedding Coordinator suggested having it there. It should be lovely doing it outdoors. Maybe you could have yours right after the wedding ceremony also. Even if it's happening on a beach, it will be lovely. Deb

Aloha! A coworker told me about this website where you can listen to all kinds of different radio stations at work. I typed in Hawaiian music and got all kinds of stations. You may want to listen to a couple to give you an idea of some of the music you'd want at your wedding! Listen to Thousands of Free Online Radio Stations - Live365 Internet Radio And it looks like you can purchase the music right from the site if you really like the song playing. This might help if you are creating your own CD.

I guess it depends on your resources. It can be fun, but stressfull and a fair amount of work. Plus, you have to be not so critical of your own work! In the end, you'll look at your stack of invites and be proud of what you accomplished, if you decide to do it on your own. I would have never done this project on my own if I had over 100 guests! I'd have just thrown money at it. lol There are lots of DIY tips on the web for creating your own invitations, plus lots of ideas on this forum.

A group of resorts in Mexico are offering incentives to go to Mexico because there are some folks that are still afraid to get swine flu. The participating properties are Zoetry Wellness & Spa Resorts, Secrets and Dreams Resorts & Spas, Azul Hotels by Karisma, El Dorado Spa Resorts & Hotels by Karisma, and Real Resorts. The resorts are located in Cancun, Riviera Maya and Playa del Carmen. I read this on Yahoo News, and thought I'd spread the word. Yep, I'm using the paperclip icon and the "Manage Attachments" section. A seperate window opens up and I've tried to upload from a file off my PC and from a URL from a share-site. Nothing works. The size requirements are met, so I'm not sure why I'm having this problem. It doesn't work off my fiance's PC either, so it's not my computer. I guess I'll just use the URLs from the file share website. Though I don't want to go that route.
