Can you please give me her contact info? Hey there breeze616, This is the website. It use to work but now it's asking for a login? Odd? The email that I have been using is [email protected]. I actually just now heard from Chandlyns assistant and she states that Jan is very popular in Ocho Rios and that they have been doing buisness with their brides for 4 yrs. This makes me feel so much better! -

So, I ordered my bridal bouqet, 2 bridesmaids bouqet, 1 maid of honor bouqet, 3 bouts for the groomsmen, 4 corsages for the mothers/grandmothers, and 3 hair flowers. They were all made out of plumerias, stargazerlillies, and orchids. Cant wait to show you all the actual results. Cost was around $450.00. Now I also wanted to have some decorations for the ceremony site, we're getting married at the beach front gazebo. These were the quotes I recieved. Tai Flora (preferred ROR vendor): Hello Shakara Thank your for your patience in awaiting my response. Her are the requested information and suggestions: Aisle Markers $7+tax (rental) Aisle runner $45 + Chair Ties $2.75+ Fabric Aisle $50 up depending on length of aisle Railing Décor $40+ Arch $320+ Suggestions: -Brides Bouq – 12 yellow mini calla lily and white roses $165 -Bridesmaids bouquet – orange $ yellow casa lily, pink and red roses hand-tied $65ea -Rose Boutonniere $20ea *I decided not to go with Tai Flora because I didn't like that she put + next to the stuff I was interested in Grande Garden: Dear Shakara, I know this is long over due, it has gotten so busy and it is our policy to be attentive to all our Brides and you are next in line. I have listed your prices below this does not include tax (17.5%) or delivery ($250.00) Thanks for your patients and time, Warm Regards, Charmaine Pang Two arrangements on Pedestals $ 295.00 Chair Tie Backs- $ 6.00 ea 54" x 108" Aisle Runner runner & tropical petals $75.00 Gazebo Decor- $295.00 *The 250 delivery charge ruled this out for me* Floral Fantasy Hi Shakara, Thank you for your great patience as the Valentine's Day week was very hectic for me. Okay I'll be delighted to assist you with the requested info. For a bouquet cascading using white lilies and yellow roses this would cost $ 100.00. The bridesmaid bouquet using a small bouquet of mixed white flowers such as white roses with white dendrobium orchids this will cost $ 40.00 For the gazebo you can have small archway pieces for $50.00 each going up and pedestal arrangements from $ 150.00 going up. Please note you'll have to add 17.5% sales and $50.00 for delivery to Ocho Rios. Jan's Tropical Flowers required – orange, red, pink white & lots of yellow Flowers to be used – Calla lilies, casa blanca lilies, tiger lilies, stargazer lilies, Dendrobium & cymbidium orchids, Roses, hibiscus, Ceremony Decorations: •Gazebo decorated with fabric and three floral piece $250.00 •4 small arrangements as aisle markers (4@$60ea)$240.00 •1 white Aisle Runner (with petals on both sides)$ 60.00 oTOTAL $550.00 I really liked Jan's the best. They were the most organized and quickest to respond... not to mention cheapest So I decided to go with Jan... minus the aisle marker arrangements taking me to $310 and then were just going to bring down chair sashes and a little extra stuff decorating the signing table, etc Im just wondering if you had placed your deposit? I am a little paranoid with the payment options she has given me. you can email me @ [email protected] or PM me on here. -
So I have been communicating with Audie via email in regards to our flowers and decor for our wedding in a couple weeks. I have signed and sent the form with the quote she had given us. She has been wonderful and prompt with the email correspondance. For payment of sevices she had emailed me different modes of payment. One of the options were western union. So today I was going to transfer payment and the clerk I had asked assistance from was extremely hesitant to put the transaction through as she had SEVERAL cases of fraud in Jamaica! She was questioning me about the legitamacy of this business and how did I hear about them..yadda yadda yadda...like this lil old clerk was almost refusing for me to send this money. She told me to check the BBB in Jamaica and do my research and such. After all this I just left a little paranoid! I have emailed jan bridal and flowers to see if i can call over the phone and make a payment. And I have also emailed Roxianna at ROR to inquire about it. Im a little annoyed at myself cuz this lil old clerk has got me paranoid! Any thoughts or advice ladies

Thanks jamaicabride2010! Yeah I think it comes with a speakers and mic...I am lucky cuz my brother is a DJ and all his music is all on his laptop!
-
Thanks Maureen, The only thing I was worried about was moving my guests. I kinda just wanted to have it all in one location..ie poolside. I just emailed my TA to confirm that we do have the 10 rms booked so we can get the free wedding at the resort. We are actually going to rent the speakers and mic since my brother is a DJ and will be taking care of the music aspect of it. I just need to decide ASAP as I need to get my flowers in order as well. I soooo can't wait till this is over and done with now! As fun as it is, we are soooo ready to get married and party on!

Congrats congrats!! Sounds like you had a fabulous time!! Ohhh free wifi! Nice! hhehe! -
Our day is coming up realy quick and to be honest we don't have the reception decided on yet! We do have the gazebo @4 and Micheal for photos but as for the reception..ugghh..we are still debating! We have already booked one of the wedding packages that have the semi private but we are favoring the poolside reception but at $55 per person at an all inclusive..wasn't too favorable! So I just emailed Chandlyn again to see if we can switch to the free wedding package and just add on the extras. Hopefully no one else will have the poolside that day! If so I guess we'll just have to opt for the semi private and move down to the seagrape!
-
OK...one more question..I hope! I was wondering if having it at the steak house then reception at the seagrape was a hassle. In terms of moving everyone to a different location. I was thinking of doing it like that as well, using the free dinner THEN move everyone to continue with a bit of dancing and a lot of drinking but I was unsure about the moving around. What is your take on this and most importantly how were your guests?
-
Thanks fo sharing!! These pics are beautiful! Its given me a much better idea since all the planning is done online! Couple questions though.. Do you get to pick how many chairs are placed in front of the gazebo? I am borrowing my MOH chair covers and sashes and would like to know how many to bring. We have a total of 17 guests. Which reception venue did you pick? and did you get a DJ? Thank you again! LOVE LOVE the pics!
-
I rec'd an email from Chandlyn too about the increase to $450...now im kinda debating is it worth it? My BFF who is also my MOH says 'its SOOOO worth it' Im still kinda undecided at this point. arrghh...

We got some extra chasers for us too! -

Just wanted to post up my finished hangoverkits...minimus.biz is a great place to order these! Oh and I also posted up a pic of my refillable cups that I bought at the dollarstore and personalized! These will all be going into the OOT bags. Still working on those but will post once they are done too!

I have been tossing the idea of including waterproof disposable cams in my OOT bags. But because a lot of the sites were a little more $ then I wanted to spend I had trashed the idea BUT...I found a great site this morning that have them at reasonable prices! Check it out..I ordered 10 today hopefully they are ok! I ordered the ones for $5.25. Waterproof, all-weather disposable cameras suitable for use underwater.

I have stumbled upon the Kohls site for some great beach stationary. Its probably the best priced stationary I have found! Too bad I didn't see it when I had sent my Save the date letters! But I will be using this for my welcome letters that I will be sending my guests about a month before we leave. Check it out! I just ordered some today! http://media.kohls.com.edgesuite.net...0&op_sharpen=1 http://media.kohls.com.edgesuite.net...0&op_sharpen=1
