Dh and I were in Peru in October 2009. It was an awesome, aweosme trip ! We used Mountain Lodges of Peru - basically you trek from Cusco to Machu Picchu but at night you stay in super comfortable lodges ! It was really unique. Mountain Lodges of Peru If you're interested in the same kind of trip, you should read the trip report of this person, and also look at her absolutely stunning pictures (at the bottom of ther post) : Mountain Lodges of Peru - Trip Report - Peru Forum - TripAdvisor I got super sick with the altitude, to a point that I almost had to turn back and go down. Happily, they had a horse following, so after failing to acclimatate I climed on one and that was for the hardest day, lol ! After that the trip was going down so I got much better. But basically, over 10 days there, I had a headache during the 10 days, and really horrible problems when we were up to 14,000-15,000 feet (vomitting, diarrhea, etc). Nothing helped, not the oxygen, not the medication that they gave me (they had a doctor on call). Nada. Still, I only have good souvenirs from the trip ! It was really amazing ! If you want to make sure you'll be OK, see your doctor before leaving he will give you some pills to take daily. People in my group that were on it did not suffer at all. On the day of Machu Picchu I was in a GREAT shape and spent the whole day climbing up and down The headache could not stop me, i was so excited - I had wanted to see this place for such a long time ! One thing that I absolutely loved in Peru was the food ! Yes, even being sick, with two whole days not being able to eat anything but broth, I just loved it. Contrary to mexbride I did not like Larcomar too much, I thought it was too much like home... when I travel I like to see authentic stuff ! But La Rosa Nautica is indeed a must ! We just stayed in Lima overnight on the way to Cusco, so we stayed at the brand new hotel that is right inside of the airport, Costa del Sol. It's great, only suites, not expensive, and connected to the airport by a brige. So no need of taxi. Perfect for connections. In Cusco we stayed at Casa Andina San Blas, and Casa Andina Private Collection. We likes both - although I did prefer San Blas because it was smaller, and the room we had at private collection did not have a lot of light. Hotels in Cusco - Casa Andina Peru Cuzco Hotel In Aguas Caliente we stayed at Inkaterra and OH MY GOD ! This is really the place to stay at. We regretted not to stay one night longer to enjoy the place ! Remember to visit trip advisor and enjoy your trip !

I put on a thin layer over the area being treated so that it's not caked on, but that it's well covered. It technically is possible to overdose on Lidocaine, but it would take a lot of 4% cream to do it. Just don't use the whole tube. Ha! Wow I would never have done that ! I must say that I had to put cream all over given that I was doing everything at the same time - meaning I was using 10 tubes for each treatment (I don't know in the USA - in france tubes are really small). Anyway it was putting me groggy every time - one time they had some delays and my lips got blue from it - they actually had to remove it from me because I could barely walk or move any more !!! Anyway - I guess for just the bikini and the armpits this should not happen The guidelines we had was - 90 min before treatment.

At the beginning of the ceremony we had a little reading. Then once the reading was over we played "I'm Yours" by Jason Mraz. We stopped the song when we were done pouring - even though the song was not over.

I recommend getting some EMLA cream, which is mixture of lidocaine and prilocaine (2 local anesthetics). It will numb you up quite well if you have it on for an hour prior to the procedure. Your physician should be able to call you in an script for it easily. It worked wonders for me! Well, I'm glad it went well for you and don't worry, it does get better each time I think. EMLA ! This is what I was using too !

And, how much your guests paid for lodging and airfare? We would fly out of ATL. Some of our guests will be paying as couples and some will be paying as singles. We haven't been able to offer anyone an estimated amount and that has kept them from committing to be there. And, to get her grandparents there, we may be paying for them totally. Can anyone offer any info on this? I could really use some help. Hello DLT, you might to try and talk with a TA. That does not engage you - but it would actually simplify your life ! He/she could give you an estimate pretty quickly and then help arranging for the travel of your guests. Just my 2 cts

Lol ! It does get less painful along the way (less hair to remove) but as far as I can remember - not at the second session though I think for me it got easier at the 3rd or 4th, something like that. Hey you can try to have a glass of wine before getting in ! that could help !

OOT Bag Ideas for Kids
Ayita replied to MRhoades0219's topic in Wedding Registry, Wedding Gift Bags, and OOT bags
Look in post #9 of my planning thread for what I put in the OOT bags of my then 4-year-old and 6-year-old nephew and niece ! -
I did not know this thread existed ! Well, we have been TTC since October last year - month when I went off bc. In February I found out I was pregnant but miscarried at 6 weeks. It took me a couple weeks to get over it. At fist it was devastating but I coped quickly, thinking that after all, we had only tried for 4 months and someting happened - my eggs are not rotten and his sperm is working ! I'm older too - 37 - so I know the risks are higher and I prefer the pregnancy ending like this, and this early, rather than discovering something's wrong at the amnio (that I WILL take no matter what). OBGYN said we had to wait at least 3 complete cycles (so that the uterus be ready again), and it did not seem long but now it really does feel like ages ! We are leaving for vacation in two weeks, that will be the middle of the third cycle, so it means that we can start again when we're back from vacation in June. I'm looking forward to it. So I've been charting to TTA for the past two months. Sad. I discovered that my BBT is super low (around 96-96.4 in first half, 97-97.2 in second half), consistent with hypthyroidism. Also my BBT is swinging like crazy in the first half ! Chinese doctors would probably find that I'm "too hot" or "too cold" or the reverse - who knows, I'm not a Chinese doctor lol. Anyway. It still allows to pin-point my ovulation time pretty good. I'm on prenatal vitamins, clean fish oil, calcium and magnesium, and I'm also doing MSM and glucosamine right now because I have an issue with my knee from running, but I'll stop as soon as we TTC again. I'm doing progesterone cream on the second half of the cycle to help with PMS. Cannot hurt when TTC either. Calia - I read somewhere that EPA is good for fertility, but in the first half of the cycle only, and that after ovulation you should stop and take another oil (like fish for instance) because EPA could be detrimental to implantation of the embryo ? Also read flaxseed is good for DH spermies, but not for us ladies ! So we have to be really careful what we take - I actually feel super guilty for being on non-recommended supplements in the first 4 weeks of pregnancy (well 2 weeks after conception, when I did not know), I feel it could have had something to do with the miscarriage... So I have become super-obsessed with being as healthy as I can for the next time trying. I thought the miscarriage and the 3 months of wait time was actually my chance to do this ! I first looked up something to get rid of my heavy metals (last blood test showed I have mercury 3 times over the recommended limit in the blood, as well as uranium- don't ask me where I got this ?), and at the same time they sent me this book "lessons from the miracle doctors". Great book I must say, about how there's no "miracle" cure but how you can actually get healthier by doing a few things... I got particularly interested in the part about acidifying/alkalizing foods because the symptoms of over-acidification were so exactly the description of all the health disorders I had, in the exact chronology they appeared (first skin rashes, then extreme fatigue, then excess weight not going even with diets, then thyroid failure - I'm just at the beginning of it but still...)... I'm now at a phase where my thyroid is not functioning well (I'm subclinical hypo) and we know that can be an issue when TTC... so there we go, I did the whole thing - detoxing my metals, my colon, my gallbladder, now I'm doing the liver (only 2 days left), and I switched my diet to 70% alkalizing (which means : 70% fruits and veggies)... I also lost 13 lbs in the process (awesome) ! Still overweight but that certainly was good to get rid of ! I hope to take much of stress off with the 3 weeks vacation that is coming up. I hope next time will be the right one !

With this type of card, you still stay debt free (if you don't repay at the end of the month, it stops working pretty fast), still have to budget and plan your big purchases in advance (you need to have the cash at the end of the month), can build a credit score (which is not only important for debt, but also to avoid having to give HUGE deposits to electricity, phone, internet company etc), and buy off the internet easily. For instance with the CC I can pay off my rent even if I'm not in town. Plus, AX come with insurance built in, which means that if I break something I just purchased, or get it stolen, they replace it. You also get insurance for when you rent a car (the CDW - LDW so you only have to get the personal insurance), have insurance when you travel (if you paid with the card) - for instance if your luggage get in late or are lost. I see only advantages - and again I am virtually debt free (at least for the cards because I have a mortgage ) I forgot another great advantage of paying with credit card : they handle disputes with vendors, not you. AX does this great : first, they start by crediting you !! Then they take care of the dispute and send you a confirmation. They fight very well for you - always won my cause !

That was it. I spent WAY, WAY more than $200...I lied because I had at least $1000 worth of merch but as soon as he heard it was for a wedding he relaxed. He didn't even ask for receipts. I think they look at the label if you ship items. But if you're traveling with it, and they know it's for a wedding I don't think they'll give you a hard time. Just to be safe and help you feel better you can take off labels and make fake receipts. The guy that was looking in my case actually said to one next to him (in Spanish, probably he thought I did not understand) : "no, these are not expensive things. This is not what you're looking for."
