But taht will give you an idea of what your cycle will look like next month so you don't have to do any manually calculations. Right now, I use it to track when I should get AF and I use OPK's to predict ovulation since I stopped temping. I chart but I use excel. It gives me a lot of flexibility (I can easily convert my temps from C to F, make comparisons wit prior months, etc)

As for me I did not get preg our first IUI cycle, but they said I responded very well to the meds so we are starting our 2nd round today. Looks like my IUI will be on bday! Hopefully this will be our lucky month! I wish you a lot of luck ! It sounds like I should try acupuncture then. My temps are all over the place - it can vary from 97 to 96 then back to 97 between one day and the other. It's very weird. I already noticed that if I have a drink, my temp will skyrocket the next morning. The other variations I'm unable to understand. I have to make an average in order to be able to determine the drop and high that will determine my ovulation... Did the acupuncture did any good to your neck pain ? Because I have that, too...

B/c the next step I think are more risky treatments. Blah. Did you try seeing a naturopath ? Because if MD can't help, maybe a ND could ? (at least it wouldn't hurt)
  5. This thread is awesome ! I got a few terrible gifts and I don't know where to start. This one maybe : What is it are you going to say ? Well to this date I don't know. This is a Xmas gift from a guy of my team, so I have to keep it and it's sitting there, on a shelf, in front of my eyes, every day Other than that, I got a teddy bear. Nice, yes, except when it's from the guy you've been dating since 3 years and you're turning 30 !!!!!!!! Also got a stuffed turtle for my birthday from another boyfriend (this time I was turning 16), reason : because of a stupid word play with the word "turtle" in French. I can probably let you understand a bit even with "turtle". Imagine your boyfriend giving you a turtle for your birthday and saying "because if you replace the t by a d it's you". Well, replace the "tle" by a "d" and that will be the same kind of joke. Nice no ?!? In another vein, DH got me an origami kit for my birthday last year. I thought it was pretty clear to him what I liked or dislike (HE likes origami...). After that I sent a list for Xmas (and when I say a list it's as general as : jewels, massage, travel stuff, etc etc) and I got nice stuff for Xmas !!
  6. We did the legal ceremony at home in Court, and the wedding ceremony in Mexico without the paperwork
  7. I did not include price because people were coming from completely different places (USA, France, Singapore, London, Geneva) so I would have hard a hard time doing this ! After all, it's the job of the travel agent...

I hope not Hello Cookiemunchkin, no it's not too late, I planned mine in just 7 months (we got engaged end of Sep 08, decided on the place end of Oct 08, visited end of Dec 08, booked, and got married on May 2 09). And the place was fab-ulous ! Just what I wanted. When I was looking for the perfect venue, I did find a lot of venues that still had room available. Go for it !

  11. I got mine from David's bridal, internet sales section. 99$. At first they did not have my size but I kept on coming back and for sure somebody returned one in my size that I immediately ordered. Worked out perfect.

Kim Hello Kim ! good luck on this important endeavor ! First thing - and a really important one : don't try to lose too fast or it can actually be dangerous for your health - you can lose a lot of metabolites, of muscle mass (which is the lean mass but also the heavier), your skin risks to be flappy because it won't have the time to un-stretch, you will be tired + worst of all it will be VERY hard to maintain. A healthy weight loss is MAX 2lb per week - that's 25 weeks minimum (6 months). And just trying to be realistic - 2lb per week is A LOT after the first 3-4 weeks. So in order not to be disappointed and lose courage you should really plan on 1 year rather than 2-3 months ! And 6 months should be a minimum time for your goal. Somebody mentioned WW. Honestly I believe they have the best approach because : - they have great support groups that can help you with the motivation when you have a hard time with this - their approach combines diet (in the sense of healthy approach to your diet rather than "slimming" diet) and exercise which is the best - they never make you feel guilty if you temporarily fall off track - it's a long-term approach. A plan you can stick to for years and still have a life (go out, have family dinners etc) - they give you great sense of nutrition and dietetics and portions. After that you can chose exercise plans, tapes, etc but this is just an "add-on". With WW I lost 30lb in 6 months and I'm not going to say it was easy, but it sure worked... If you don't like the meetings they also have the online solution. That is something you can actually start from home, without going to a meeting - because if you're lacking motivation I can totally see you postponing finding a meeting lol ! So you just register online and that allows you to get started with the program, the points, the recipes, plus they have a forum so you can find support there - looks like you like forums so that could work for you And you can register what you eat online instead of writing it down, it's easier, too. Good luck !!

  14. Well, BBT never lies. I got my period, 2 days early, and super painful at that - I had no such issues in teh last three months so pretty sure something happened and turned out wrong. Will make an appointment asap. One of my colleague gave me references and she has a beautiful daughter now
  15. Well, it looks like it's not going to be the month ! Since two days my temp dropped under 97, which is usually the sign I'm getting my period. I still have this back ache, tummy ache, fatigue and my breast did grow by 1" ! I am starting to think there might be something off with my hormones... it all looks like fecondation does happen, but then something goes bad on implantation or in the first few days... I should probably see someone. Couldn't hurt, could it !?
  16. I recently went to a wedding where the reading was the exceprt of the Bible explaining how Eve was made from Adam's rib.

(The place was full 2 of the 3 nights we went to visit the various resorts, but we were lucky that the night we wanted to stay there they had a room open.) I wrote a separate review on here "Site Visit - Ceiba Del Mar, Hotel Le Reve, La Amada, Blue Tulum" that has more info. Let me know if you have any more questions after you read that (although this thread is very helpful too). We were back and forth between Ceiba and Le Reve, but ultimately decided on Ceiba because we will likely have more than 50 guests. The food at Le Reve is DELICIOUS and very authentic! Good Luck! Theresa You can see my site visit thread (link below in my signature). There are lots of pics ! Also know that they are very flexible on the food. We ended up with a very customized menu

I think I had a bunch of abbreviations, so I'll get them and post a new thread... http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...0/#post1341096 Thank you so much Carly !
  19. Hi Ladies ! Well after the 3 months that were vetoed by the doc we are back to trying. Anxiously waiting next week so I can test (I did feel weird al week - much similar to my last try so have my hopes pretty high. Hope I won't get disappointed). I've now started to supplement myself with natural progesterone (I use cream) in the second part of my cycle. This is designed at decreasing the PMS, which is great, but it's also very useful when you're TTC ! See this very informative site : Progesterone Levels During Pregnancy Here I get my cream from Whole Foods to make sure it's bioidentical and that there are no parabens in it I have trouble following some of the discussions because i can't understand all the abbreviations ! What do the following mean : FX? RE ? FF ? BFN ? AF ? BFP ? B/W ? Sorry... and by the way what are soft cups ? Thanks !
  20. You should use the search, there is at least one very long thread about all the brides that used them.

It seems they just want to avoid a situation where they cater a wedding for mostly non-guests. Do you expect a lot of friends to stay elsewhere?? I don't know for Ceiba, but Azul had told me that basically they would allow me to purchase max 20% of day passes compared to the total number of guests for the ceremony/dinner. Meaning that if you didn't reach 80% some people would have to stay outside !! I did not want to run the risk - which, in my case, is what ultimately decided me for Le Reve versus Azul.
  23. Hello Lisa, not sure what kind of insights or recommendations you're looking for, but if it can help, I got married at Le Reve and could not have been happier with my choice. You can check out the visit thread (see below in my signature) for tons of pics.

  25. What an interesting conversation ! On my side I actually always had the reverse approach : sex is so important in my life that I truly believed that a man with whom sex would be bad could not be the man of my life. Independent of all his other qualities ! After all, your husband is is the ONLY person with whom you are going to have sex for the rest of your life so... what if it's terrible sex ? I honestly think, knowing myself very well, that this would have been a disaster - maybe even leading me to cheating which is the ONE THING I NEVER WANT to do ever ! It was therefore very important to me to do it... actually before we even got engaged so that I could have an answer at all ! Not sure if it makes sense to you girls who decided to wait - you would probably look at me with the same eyes than people look at you when you tell them about your decision, lol !
