Althought Mariana was amazing, no doubt, and there will be big shoes to fill. I think it will be just fine and here is why: 1) Dreams has aligned itself as the premier destination for Cabo weddings. 2) I dont think they will let any inexperience comprimise any brides experince. 3)They truly pride themselves on having everything perfect all the time, and not just for weddings but for your whole stay. 4) Thru the years of BDW website there have been a few "new" WC's, David, Yarai, etc and they have never disappointed yet, each review the bride still raves. I know it is nothing set in stone, but I would still have the utmost confidence in the entire operation.

I used the Dreams Hairstylist and was pleased but I had a pretty simple hair style and nothing to edgy or trendy. I also have my 2 BM's kinda hovering while it was getting done and asking for changes as we went. So it worked out great for me, I had my own make up artist tho.

We just filed the legal paperwork once we got home from mexico. Just seemed a lot easier than doing thier legal ceremony.

Yeah, I preferred it this way, because then my ering was in my pictures of the hand ceremony, and the placing of the rings and all those ood pics!

I just wore my ering like normal, and had the wedding band be put on over it, and as soon as the ceremony was over, I just flipped them around. Easy Peasy. No aditional quote from officiant needed.

I have been in Cancun for Cinco De Mayo, and there was little to no extra celebration except at a few of the random tourist type places (Ie Senior Frogs and stuff like that). I just dont think it is actually largely celebrated in mexico itself. So you could certainly do it for your wedding theme, just dont assume there will be a ton going on because of it.

I would just like to reiterate that Tammy herself could not have made it more clear, there is no recourse thru the forum if you buy something from a forum seller. There is no guarantee of the condition, or that you will even get it. Buy at your own risk. So if you don’t like the prices, my advice again, is to move on, and get it somewhere else.

Or you can just buy somewhere else, where possibly have the right of return, or free shipping?

I paid my local photog 100% in advance. I think I paid 50% to reserve and then the other 100% 30 days before the wedding date and did not have any issues. I think the most important thing is that you ensure this is a reptuable photog and company. If not, I wouldnt do it. I did have a great photog with great reviews and had a good experience.

I just checked boxes as bags. I flew American Airlines and they have descriptions about length, width and height , and weight allotments on the airline website, make sure to check that so you dont get into extra fees.

I get what you are saying, like it does not make sense business wise, when you can buy something from an online store for the same price and return it. So buy from them, no one says you HAVE to buy from a forum seller. Thier loss for pricing it too high, but also remeber that brides are notriously into negotiating so maybe some people advertise a hight price expecting to have to negotiate. Either way you dont need to buy it from them, so I dont really see the point of a negative whiney thread to complain about it. Simply ignore and move on to threads that have more interest to you. And by the way, i gave away all my wedding extras for free, getting a bunch of PM's to haggle over price was not worth a few bucks to me, and I was happier to see them get used by brides who I had the pleasure of getting to know thru the forum. I even shipped to multiple people on my own dime. But I believe in karma, just like some amazing brides who got married before me had either given me things or left things at the resort for me. Like Katrina mentions.. it is all about circumstances.

Ditto! It was the perfect time to split apart from the adults as the youngsters were getting saucy. Also, the outdoor venues are dreams are to die for, it would be a shame to be in a ball room when you have the outdoor options.

Yeah I had swixty guests and I would say about 1/2 said it was the best wedding cake they ever had. Also I had cake boxes for everyone, since we served dessert and cake, everyone at all the cake and there was barely any left for the boxes!!!

I had tres leche and my guest still rave about how moist it was to this day!

I meant to say, Dreams literally suppilies you with EVERYTHING in your room -toothbrushes -toothpaste -razor -shampoo -Conditioner -body wash -sunscreen -soap i couldnt beleive it, and we all hoarded the sun screen the entire time and brought it home, it is my favorite sunscreen ever. And they refilled all these things as needed.
