  4. Erika J’s Planning Thread It all started Sept 9th 2008 when E proposed. He made a beautiful dinner at our new kitchen table in our new house as a surprise when I got home from yoga! It was priceless that he went to such lengths for me and I came home a sweaty mess. Literally soaked 100% saturated in sweat from hot yoga. We are getting married at Dreams in Cabo. We saw the location just by googling weddings in Cabo, then thinking how great would it be to get married there. And then eventually figuring out that it was within the budget. Which then led me to the forum and all of you wonderful ladies; it has truly been the biggest blessing of the entire wedding process. There is no way that my wedding would be ½ as nice if it was not for all of you. I have borrowed so many ideas and templates I cannot name everyone, but a few that I have pestered more than everyone else I have to mention, Tammy – for this amazing forum, an being my TA. Andi- for the constant pestering and your templates (all of my wedding stuff) and your constant support, JessicaM – you were so helpful when I was a noob and knew nothing, Ana- the ultimate Dreams bride, Heather – for leaving stuff for me in Cabo, Stacey – for the bouquet jewel, Yael- for always letting me bounce ideas off of you and telling me the truth no matter what and everyone everyone everyone else!!!! The ring: The Dress: Mikaella Bridal | Wedding Gowns Style: 1062 Hair flower: Spectacular Sparkling Swarovski Crystals and by xoxoDesigns[]=tags&includes[]=title My Veil is a borrowed from my college roommate and our other college roommate wore it first. It is just a plain elbow length, but since I wasn’t sure I will be able to wear one, I didn’t want to buy one. Now it is something pretty special that will be passed to our 4th roomie and BFF from college. 11. I think it depends on the travel experience level of your guests. All of my guests are well traveled and want to "do thier own thing", they would never want to have a fully planned itinerary.

  13. Minor vent_ I am about to have a hissy fit if I dont start to get more done, I just thought at this point I would have a packing list and bags distrubuted. I need to get my shiz together so that I can stop freaking out!!! Okay better now
  14. I am able to use photobucket at my work? did you try that?
  15. There is a ton of info on each in the Csbo Vendors sub forum. I am using DJ ricardo and found a ton of info on him in that area. I have also seen there DJ Mijares can be your DJ and play guitar.
  16. Also you can prob answer 90 % of your questions on this very comprehensive thread: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...ing-etc-47713/
  17. Sometimes Dreams takes a little while to get back to you in emails when you are far out on your date. I used Tammy Host for my TA and got immediate respnse for all travel related questions and she also helped a ton on wedding stuff too! SO double bonus. In order to keep my communciation and clean and clear with dreams as possible my WC and I kept a singe email going back and forth. So I would list all the questions and the WC would answer them and then when I got her response I would send a new list . It worked great and did not overload her email box. Also as you get closer to the wedding date, the emails are very quick and you comminicate a lot more. Let me know if there are any questions we can help you with too. This forum helped me the most in all my wedding planning.
  18. Ana- I totally agree! It is a good deal!

Somehow in my mind I imagined being neatly packed by Saturday (yesterday) and just working on last minute details before waltzing, stress-free out the door on Wednesday to catch the plane. My morning was supposed to start at the gym then come home, clean up the house and get the packing done. So, I get to the gym at 7:00am and there's about 20 people standing outside. Uh Oh...this doesn't look good. So, no gym. I get home, cranky because I didn't get to work out and instead decide to finish off some cookie dough in the fridge. Can you see where this is going? After I initiated a sugar coma with the cookie dough I didn't much feel like cleaning the house so I decided to pull out the bags and start packing. By the time FI came down stairs it was like a baggage claim exploded in our living room. I had luggage open all over and kept moving things from one bag to the other. I felt so disorganized so I kept trying to make lists. In case you didn't know compulsive list making can be disastrous. I finally realized that it wasn't going to happen (this only took 4 hours) and frustrated I decided to lay down and take a nap. I didn't feel much better when I got up so FI took me out for sushi. When we got home he was really sweet and got the house picked up. We moved everything in one corner and I'm going to work on it again today. I think PMS and wedding stress is making this a really miserable weekend. I just feel like I can't quite get control of the situation and it's such a helpless feeling. I've been fighting with FI all weekend. Not really fighting but just grumping. Ugh....thanks for letting me ramble a bit. Wednesday seems like it's coming more quickly than it should. OMG, you are so organized! I feel similar, If I could just get partially packed I would feel so much better!!! Blah. Well I just got back from Chicago and my shower, It was lovely, we brought 3 bags of presents home and left a few big boxes back at my moms she is going to UPS. But to travel with in 10 days of leaving for the wedding has me frazzeled. I need to do so much house works, wedding stuff, packing, laundry, grooming appts, 3 doc appts, crazy work week, and i havent vaccumed in 3 weeks, Nasty, cause it was broken, so I am starting to freak out a bit. but tonight I am too tired and all I can bring myself to do is BDW
  20. Great advice Natasha i will have to try that! I had a horrible bicycle accident the day before labor day and terribly hurt my face. I went to the make up counter at Nordy's and use smash box primer and laura mercier foundation and it works pretty good. but my point is any good photographer should be able to photoshop it out of photos with a few clicks, and if you get a pic you love and the scar is bothering you just ask your photog to work on it and the should happily help you!
