  1. I just got a $2.99 iphone app, and it is amazing, just pick your own music ( I couldnt do the pod casts cause the music was horrid) and go, voice promts chime you and I just start running with my dog, no distractions, just fun!
  2. Hi, So after some road blocks I officially did day 1 of week 2 and LOVEING week 2! It just fits my natural rythm better! I think running outside is physically harder on me but much more enjoyable cause I get to run with my favorite running partner.... my dog!!! so it is more entertaining!
  3. Thanks Everyone! I never made it out this weekend for running. Too much going on but i did ski today and that is work out enough for today. I only wear capri's running cause shorts and I do not get along.
  4. OHHH, how have I not seen this thread! I am doing the pushups (on week 2) and sit ups (on week 1). I am really excited that I am making such progress on the push ups. I started at 3 and can now do 8! Amazes me!
  5. I used the Dreams salon for Hair, and they did a pretty good job. I think if you have a picture that they can duplicate you are good. I wouldnt have felt totally comfortable trying to explain to them what I wanted. But they worked just fine for duplicating a picture.
  6. Boo, I am supposed to start week 2 today but it is snowing, I think I might have to delay till Sunday. I am so sad, I dont want to get derailed.

  8. OH Andi and Jill- I am just 2 days behind you (tomorrow I will finish week 1)!! It is going really well so far, much harder than the first time I did it 2 years ago for the obvi reasons. **for those that dont know, I had a serious bicycle accident in Sept, Surgery to repair my nose and sinuses in Oct, and due to the risk of hemmorage, I could not elevate my heart rate until mid January. So basically I am just starting to build my endurance back now. However, I did find that day #2 was much easier on me than day 1, so we shall see!

  11. Dont worry about it! People are not going to want to lug gifts with them. We got about 8 cards at the wedding. I had out ILs keep track of them and then we put them in the safe and carred them home. All the other guests did not want to carry the extra money or a gift either. So they sent them in the mail. it is really a non issue.

  15. Sure ring should be insured for the amount it appraises at. If your FI paid more than what is appraised for, that is not a good thing. Also if you feel it is worth more you can try getting a second appraisal but usually the jeweler who sold it will give the highest appraisal.

  18. Heather- I am so sorry, but I have to say you maintain a wonderful attitude throught your post above. You are truly a strong and caring woman to make the choice you did and have such a realistic attitude on that decision. Look forward to continue to see you around on the other random threads, I am sure you still have a lot to offer other brides.
  19. Thanks Carly! Kristina- I am not sure if you have to be connected to download it but once the app is on your itouch you wont need to be connected to wireless for it to work when you are running

  21. Oh Carly, I will look, when I did it so long ago they only had a i tunes thingie and the music was sooo awful I wanted to die. I am going to look the app up.
  22. Thanks Ana! I did it 3 years ago almost to the day and it really helped me get over my running hump. Esp since my prob was never muscle fatigue it was my respetory endurace. This is a very effective way to build that up. I highly reccomend investing in a cheap digital watch. It really helps keep better track of the weekly training plans.
