  1. Well said Ana, the thing is the Dreams Los Cabos Wedding Coordinators are **THE BEST*** at what they do, and that is making sure every detail of your wedding day/welcome dinner/rehersal dinner etc is perfect!!! And they have done that for all of us! Just amazing. They are literally running all over the resort all day long from 7 am until 9 -10 pm at night and still somehow manage to return a high volume of emails. it still baffles me how they juggle it all.
  2. Everything looks great! I am so jealous you will be at Dreams so soon!!!! I miss it so much!
  3. What!?!?!?! When did you have surgery? what is wrong? Sorry i am panicking I feel so out of the loop?

And would I have to use that same 05211 if I made local Mexican calls to vendors? I am not sure how it works for Verizion, but I have AT&T and when i called to add the feature, they gave me detailed instructions on how to dial whom and how to check my voicemail, they even summmarized our discussion with insturctions in an email. I would call your carrier to find out about the plans and make a decision from there. it also covered a reduced min rate as well as text message rate.
  5. I was also a Dreams Bride!! Welcome to the forum! I used Wright Travel Agency, Tammy (Host) of the forum. She was absolutely amazing in getting my contract negotiated and for having a point of contact for my guests. She also helps a ton with questions on planning your wedding, which other TA's cannot offer. So def contact her, there is no fee to you. Dont worry, once our deposit it down, date reserved, and room block contract signed. Thre rest is really simple and fun! Just picking out the details, which you can find ALL of them discussed here. A few tips that I found super helpful when dealing with your Dreams Wedding Coordinator: - remember they are super busy!!! - keep one email stream going - send it once per week with your list of questions - wait to send your next email until the respond(usually with in 7-10 day, and more frequent the closer your wedding) This keeps everything very straightforward and saves everyone time.
  6. In order of favorite things to do (that is not golfing) ATV's- they are so fun they take you to the dunes ocean side and set you free.. soo much fun Deep Sea fishing- you can Marlin fish, but if you wand to have a lot of people catch stuff we caught yellow fin and then took it to a restarurant and had it cooked for a bunch of people and froze and took some home. Jungle boat/snorkling cruise- wasted fun snorkleing Other fun stuff I have not done but heard good things: surfing Zip line tour day trip to Todos Santos
  7. I only got a video of the ceremony as it was all I could afford, but it is my fav thing! I love it. I do wish that I had the speaches on video as well.
  8. Holy crapper Andi- that sounds hard!
  9. Dont worry Jill, I have taken 2 weeks off to help my toe recover from the ligament injury, I am still undecided if I will run next week or not. We all just need to stick together to finish this thing out! LOL
  10. Congrats Mo!!! Well deserved for all the help you provide
  11. It is still cheaper to go US Cell to US Cell than to make local phone calls and be charged by your resort in most cases. I just added a plan for $5.99 that reduced the international rate and turned my data fetch off. it made for a pretty easy way to communicate and btwm DH and I our bill was only like $30 higher than normal.
  12. Hey.. Just wanted to give an additional update. I purchased from Barry's promos again for koozies for our kickball team. This second order with him was super fast. From the day I ordered/emailed/paypaled. I had the koozies in had 2 weeks later. I did have to send a follow up email to confirm my order but got 50 koozies.
  13. I took the week off for my turf toe injury, so hopefully I can see if it feels better to try this week
  14. My gardening story: So I live in a town home, I do potted veggies and herbs. First experiment was last year with Porter Dark Cherrie tomatoes, cilantro, basil and oregano. The Scoop from last year: My tomato initially did well and then out grew the pot, so lesson learned. My cilantro needs to be in a cooler spot cause it just bolted immediately. Basil and Oregano did perfect, my lesson learned is that I should have harvested it more, I threw away a lot and we ran out mid winter. I should have froze and dried more of it. LORD knows i had enough of it. The Plan: Plant tomato to bigger pot, prob a new breed/type of tomato. I would like to get some sort of long rectangular box planter or holder for individual herb pots. I think if I move the cilantro to the upper blacony with more shade and cooler it will do better. Probably try a pepper plant. Unfort I cant start anything till after mothers day due to the INSANE colorado weather, and risk of snow and spring freezes.
  15. BUMMMMMPITY BUMP BUMP For Sring time !!!!
  16. I agree with every one else above about not feeling comfortable with "new to them" baby sitter in a foreign country. I think the kids weed themselves out of the reception as Lauren mentioned. One adult goes back to the room with them and the other is left to "play" later into the night. I am sure you just want everyone to have fun at your wedding but not at the cost of making someone uncomfortable. That is a decision that parents handle all the time when they have kids and have to decide who gets to have fun and who is the responsible one for the night. I would let the kids come and not stress about it.
  17. Oh, that one was good too. If I had to rank: mahi mahi at Oceanna with porchini mushrooms mahi mahi at protofino with Ginger mahi mahi with tomatoes and spinach
  18. It is common courtesy to cash a check as soon as you recieve it. It helps the giver of the gift keep financial track, and it lets them know you received the gift and the check is not in the wrong hands or lost. Also you will want to send a Thank you right away.
  19. I have done this clease for a short time to start a nutritioanl program and it was HORRIBLE! THe salt water flush is horrible enough. Also if you researched further, Beyonce herself said it was a horrible and unhealthy way to lose weight and would never recommend it to anyone. BTW, it is not a weight loss program at all, but is infact called the Master Cleanse if you want to look into it further.
  20. Ana- do you remeber the portofino sauce? It was different but delish!
  21. I have not tried that specific combo, but I can say for sure the mahi mahi is amazing! very fresh and one of the best things there. I had 2 preperations at the restaruants that I loved: 1) at Oceanna- with porchinni mushrooms (to die for) 2) at Portofino- it was a different combo and I cant rember it now but a lot of guests raved about it.
