I just will have to sacrifice many other things in the budget if they all come, but I think I have a pretty good idea of who will make it and who won't. There will be some people will suprise us by coming others will let us down at the last minute but I think we have a pretty good idea. When we put together the names I took all the immediate family and closest of our friends, no one from work or anything. I guess in the end one of our main priorities is that we wanted a big family vacation and if that means people fidn a way to save money and come, then we can find room in the budget to have them. Even if it means having less flowers or few items in the OOT bags. Then I told each set of parents they could invite 5 sets of friends, or a list of must haves, my dad and FIL's gave it to me right away. My mom, not so happy about the DW told me she couldnt narrow it down like that. So I just left it alone and moved on.. she has been unhappy about the DW. She is doing a little better now that I assigned her "projects". The tote bags and pashminas.

We are sending out invites to everyone even if we know they wont come. In my family it is way better to let them say no to us, then have them not recieve an invite and have hurt feelings.

I know.. total skanks. Also what is with the level of fake boobs on this season? they are all huge and look like they are going to pop. Ugghh Frontier is not flying to Cabo at the time of my wedding, thier flights dont start to Nov 20th or something and my wedding is Nov 6th. I am totally bummed about it My FI and I like flyign frontier out of Denver.

Dana, I am getting married on Nov 6th and plan just leaving the concrete.

I am using the Ultimate package, listed on the dreams website: Dreams Los Cabos Suites Golf Resort & Spa: Plan Your Wedding Each additional person over the 20 included is $70 per person, If you eliminate the lobster from the dinner you can drop it to $58 per person. When people refer to $29 per person the is the private party fee for each location. If do an a la cart wedding, then you pay a $29 per person private party fee for each of you locations (ceremony and reception).

I have never heard of Hand fasting. Do you have more details on it?

My parents were not thrilled in the beggining but once i put the deposit down and the realized that my mind was made up and there was no turning back, the all came around (incl my FI's parents). Not only did they get on board with the idea but now everyone is really excited. However it did take my mom about 3 months, I eventually just started planning everything with out her input as it was totally negative and manipulative. Now I think after she felt excluded she is trying to be involved and curbing her negativeness. So I guess she just needed more time.

But ultimatly, you will be the glowing, beautiful bride at your wedding that have been maticulously planning and she will just be the IDIOT in a wedding dress at someone else's wedding. So I am getting my STD's ready and I was thinking of ordering some return address labels in bulk. What did you guys do for those of you who will be changing your last name? Did you use your first name and maiden name or first name and soon to be last name? Or just put the new last name and not first names i.e. The Smith's? Any advice or feedback or is there something obvious that i am totally missing

My Best friend is an esthetician (sp?) and I did something similar last winter and she had me use lemon juice and a few table spoons of vinigar and applied it like using nail polish remover and it worked well. I did not notice right away but by the next morning it was mostly normal.
