Meghan, [email protected] just in case you still need it. What I've heard about real flowers in the hair is that they are likely to wilt and some pollen stains which is why I'm going with fake. Plus one less thing to worry about.

I'm not decided on the rehearsal either. Please share the extra cost if Jacy get back to you. We have a big wedding party and I may even want some of the bridesmaid/groomsmen to sit down during the ceremony so I feel a rehearsal may be necessary. But then again, the carefree/relaxed mexico vibe might take over and I might not wont to worry about a rehearsal.

She said she'll get back to me once the entertainment staff makes plans for that weekend...

Everything looks lovely. Can't wait to hear how the welcome challenge goes! Your honeymoon sounds so fun. Congrats! -
Safe travels Dee and 2010Wedding! I can't to hear all the amazing details. Rainfall, thanks for the van taxi info. $7 sounds better? Did the vans wait for you all night or did you just find them when you wanted to go home? The concierge gave me a map of the DPA resort which I plan on adding to my prewedding brochure http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a2...resortmap2.jpg

It's free and my candles won't get blown out. We have a late ceremony so it will be get dark anyway.

Regarding the nightlife in Playa del Carmen, I loved the idea but the $65 per person was too high. I read somewhere that a lot of the clubs/bars are free to get into. So we are going to book a 12 person van for $180 ($15/person) to take everyone to playa from 10 pm-2am on the Thursday after our welcome cocktails. the big drinkers will probably spend at least $65. But the cheap light weights (my girls) will probably get away with spending a lot less to get to dance and party.

Wow dee thanks for the template. We are working on our welcome letter as well. We included a welcome, resort info (restaurants and bars), wedding weekend events, "where's are the bride and groom," the wedding program and thank yous. Your template inspires me to find out what entertainment the resort will be providing. Also I think your SIL was WAY out of line and it is none of her business. The bride and groom should not give up their first class tickets!
