Jennifer 24, is this the package that you are having you mentioned not paying for a private reception. Even with the free package do we still get the option of an area sectioned off for reception. adais.angel, December 2010 seems so far away but it will be here in no time. I changed my destination to Jamaica, just figure to much having to translate the documents back and forth from english to spanish than english. I am hoping for a dec. 1 date that will be our 5th anniversary of meeting.

You did not sway my decision, I had viewed some pics on travel advisor that I was not to impressed with. I know the beaches in Jamaica are not like you would get in Varadero etc. The gazebo is very beautiful at Gran Bahia Principe from all the pic I have viewed. My mind was not totally set on Gran Bahia anyways. So no worries . Chris

I am also planning a ROR wedding in December 2010. And I am hoping to be able to have the free package but I guess that will depend on how many people will be travelling with us but I am sure i can fill 5 rooms, does your own room count?. So by reading thru these posts it looks like we can not book our wedding until feb/march of 2009. I have a certain date that I want so I will be contacting and booking ASAP lol. jamaica08, I just checked that link and because of that I am changing my mind. The resort is beautiful BUT I am such a beach person once I read that it was man made (I had already had my doubts after viewing pics on travel adivisor) my mind was quickly made up and I have decided to keep looking for another hotel. Orginally I was set on Punta Cana but having to have docs translated into Spanish then have the wedding certificate back to English I changed my mind. I am getting so frustrated luckily the wedding is not until december 2010

Yes we meet online. On yahoo personals. I was so frustrated with the whole process that I had decided I was going to contact this one person and if he did not reply I was going to stop looking. I had gone on some pretty bad dates and I was getting so stressed out over the whole online dating scene. Well it took him 3 weeks to reply. I had given up and was going in that day to delete my profile. He also was about to delete his profile when he noticed that I had contacted him. We chatted a few nights on msn, then a few nights on the phone and meet in person for dinner and a movie and we have been together eversince. We are planning a beach wedding in Punta Cana on our 5 year anniversary of meeting in person Dec 1. Chris
