  1. Thats what I did, I sent a RVSP with std with a yes, no or maybe option. Just start getting some of them back. I doubt everyone will send one back. But I wanted a general idea of might like to join us
  2. I am buying my girls barefoot sandals, then a pair of flip flops for the reception, the reception is on grass so I thought flip flops would be perfect, this way they won't be sinking into the grass
  3. not at all, it gives your guests a chance to save some money up! I sent mine about 10 months before
  4. wont that be a fashion statement on the beach lol
  5. my daughter and son will be walking be down the aisle. Both my parents are gone, I will have a charm on my bouquet with their picture. If my kids were not coming to the wedding I would walk myself down the aisle and maybe meet FI half way
  6. Hi girls, I really need to jump back on this thread. I am trying to find my motivation. I went dress shopping last Saturday and it was very humiliating. Its a good job I have a sense of humor. I brought my sister (who is very over weight) and my BF who is also over weight. All the sample dresses were a size 6 I am a street size 16 so can you just imagine. I was wearing my suck everything in bodyshaper. Thank god the sales girl who of course was a size -2 lol left me in the change room alone. The first dress was beautiful a halter style, I thought okay I should be able to slip into this dress feet first. OMG I heard a rip, there was no way that sucker was going past my hips. I tried putting it on over my head, my hair barrette went flying off and I got all tangled in the dress lol. I quickly put the dress on the hanger. Sales girl pops in to help at this point lol. We managed to slide the other dresses over my head and I kinda wiggled and jiggled in the dresses. Of course non of them did up at the back. At first I was so embarrassed, when I came out of the dressing room it seemed everyone was staring at me and thinking that poor woman there is nothing here to fit her. After the initial shock was over I just went with the flow and all 3 of us had lots of laughs. I had planned on going shopping in December but the Maggie Sottero dress I loved on line was being discontinued. Turns out it was not the dress for me. I did find my dress and its still a Maggie Sottero - Odessa, and its not being discontinued so I will be able to order it in December. So I would love to at least drop 1 dress size before I get measured! Here are my stats. 183 140 July 8, 2011 Junk food, fast food take out, I have started Jillian 30 day shred plan on going back to the gym!
  7. omg they consider the wedding dress your carry on! I wonder how much you can stuff into that bag then. I plan on putting FI clothes in there as well, I was hoping to have a carry on as well for other important wedding things. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
  8. I would take your friends advice, some wedding dresses take 6 months to come to the bridal salon after ordering. I am getting married July , 2011 and the bridal salon told me that I need to come in to the salon in december to make sure the dress arrives in time!
  9. She is great! I have also hired her for my July 8/11 wedding at Couples Sans Souci! Thanks for sharing reveiw and links!
  10. the photographer I am using is Marcia Roberts, I really like her work and find her prices being good, she also does not charge by the hours so you can take you time and not miss any important pictures. I am getting married in Ocho Rios at Couples Sans Souci As far as I know there is no extra charge for linens, I am only bringing sashes.
  11. just got back from trying on Nyna. Still love the dress but not on me . But I did pick another Maggie. I am going to wait a few months to order it so I can drop a few more lbs. Its Odessa. Sorry no pictures of me in the dress.
