Thanks NJ Bride! I know I need to set a date soon, but am looking forward to hearing all the details of your experience in December! I see that you chose to have the wedding on Friday and take advantage of the beach party later - I was thinking about that as well. I'm assuming you are using the resort photographer since that is after Oct.31st...I'm very interested to see how that goes. I have no reason to think negatively about them but after reading how people are so upset about the ban of outside photog's it made me kind of paranoid! haha And ErinB I saw your write up about your wedding and it is one of the reasons I decided to go with CSA! Looks like you had a blast! Any advice you have in planning details is appreciated!

That is the time frame I am looking at (we haven't picked an exact date yet). For some reason the prices start going up in June so I am wondering if that means that April and May are not a desirable time to go there for some reason...lol....can anyone fill me in?

Congratulations! What made you decide to go to Grande Lido? We are pretty set on Couples Swept Away, but our TA just got back from Jamaica and she really liked Grand Lido. It's hard for me to tell from the pictures, but it is definitely less expensive than CSA so that makes it intriguing! Any info would be appreciated - thanks!

Here's a random question...is it ok for the groom to see your dress at all, or just not you in it? haha I trust his judgement in everything clothing related so it is hard not to show him these pictures

I fall into the "no boob" category as well, and probably less so by the wedding since I am going to try to drop some weight before then How something like that fits you probably depends on a lot of things, so I guess you have to just try it on, which I think I will go do as soon as I can! Thanks!

Beach wedding dessy gown style 1002 I think I like it, but no stores around here carry it, and I hate to spend the money to order it and not be able to return it if it is cheap feeling, ugly or doesn't fit me right...haha I'm wondering if there is a secret to this dress shopping thing that you all can fill me in on:) The worst part is that I like the top to one, the back to another, another part of another, etc. Maybe I need to have someone make one, but I suppose that could get rather pricey even for a fairly simple dress Thanks all!

And I have no idea what I am doing:) We had played around with the idea of going to Vegas, but now are thinking a beach wedding would be better. Friends of ours got married at Couples Swept Away and loved, so we are checking that out as well as some others. The date is flexible as well depending on what we decided to do, but we are hoping for April or May if we can get it put together fast enough. It will be small, and probably only us, our parents and maybe a few friends. We've both done the big traditional wedding previously, so are looking for something a bit simpler this time around:) I look forward to learning from all of you - thanks! Trina
