  10. I got married at Sol Palmeras in Varadero which is a 4-4.5 star. Everything was so easy and simple. I think the wedding day was the most relaxed during our whole time at the resort When we had to fill out the forms here in Canada to send to the resort there was also a sheet of extras we might want. We choose the lesser wedding package and I didn't add on any extras. We had the choice to do so at the resort but there wasn't anything we needed...oh, we got an extra bottle of champagne for right after the ceremony. We didn't have a "private" reception, but in one of the a la carte resturants. It was much nicer and better than I thought it would be. It was a set 3 course meal that was lovely. There was a band and everything did feel very private, even though it wasn't. The cake was excellent and hugh. We had the choice of vanilla or chocolate and this was arranged when we met with the wc. The way they do their icing is very different but it was fine for us. We thought we might have to pay for a cake upgrade but there was more than enough for 20 of us. They even had 2 bottles of champagne there that we didn't request or pay for. I can't think of anything else right now...I will be doing my review as soon as I get my butt into gear Let me know if you have any questions!

  14. I think it would be enough. People are going to be mingling and it seems like there will be a lot going on, it doesn't seem like people are just going to focus on what they can eat during the time there. But I do agree that if you have doubts you might want to add something just to ease your mind
  15. You could check out Etsy.com and search garters. I know there are some who make custom.
  16. LOVE it! I just send the link to my sister too
  17. We were together 7 1/2 years when we got engaged and over 9 years when we got married
