Congrats fellow Cuban bride! Ask away with any questions about getting married in Cuba, there are great people on the forum who are always willing to help. I have no idea what they photographer at you resort is like but from what I have seen from other resorts is that the photography is different and typically not at the professional level we see in Canada. The pictures are beautiful but the quality usually lacks because of the resources they have. I guess it all depends on what you are looking for and what you would be happy with. I have heard though the the IB Varadero is an amazing resort! Good luck with you planning

I brought CDs to be played at the disco but they didn't play too many of the songs. The disco at our resort was often packed and that included entertainment staff who is off of work. They seemed to cater to them mostly and played a lot of cuban music, things that would get the crowd involved. It did bother me a bit but there wasn't really anything I could do about it, we weren't planning on having a father daughter dance but did have a song there that we wanted to use for our first dance but it never got played. It was late already, and we had a full night to that point anyways. Our CDs were a huge mix of music, something for everyone but they seemed to only want to play the dance music. I also made sure that they weren't burned off into MP3, just incase their equipment didn't play MP3 but rather just some kind of audio file.

I love crystal cuffs! They are all beautiful but I think I like #1 the best

I used a starfish that I bought at Michael's Craft store and just tied my rings on with ribbon, it was a very inexpensive route I am at work so I can't upload a picture but the first picture in my slideshow shows it, the link is in my siggy. Some people also buy a large shell, put some sand in it and lay the rings in the sand which also looks really pretty.

I am so so sorry for what has happened I am glad though to hear that you are doing a bit better and you photograher is understanding. I can't imagine thinking that it is possible that someone actually stole something from my front door, especially BD pics. What a crappy thing to happen and what a crappy person to steal! I am still hoping though that it just got misplaced by UPS and you get the original package.
