Oh wow Virginia, I didn't realize they would be working separate... makes sense though. And I wouldn't be too bummed about it. Lori did the "girls" pics and Lincoln did the guys before we all met at the ceremony location. They were all great pics and them working separate wouldn't be a make it or break decision for me! They're both fantastic and I still say go for it!

Welcome!!! First and foremost - prepare for more drama. The best advice I can give is to ignore it and not let people ruin your planning process because of it. For those that choose not to come, your wedding will still be awesome without them and they will likely realize what idiots they were being after its all said and done.Quote:

Just a little tip for your ceremony time - I'm not sure how many pics you're planning to do after your ceremony but the sun sets pretty early at that time of year. I originally had mine scheduled for 4pm but my photogs had me change it to 3pm which I'm glad we did. By the time we were heading to dinner after our pics, it was already dark. But if you can't change your time or don't want to, its not a big deal. Just thought I would throw it out there!

My wedding was a party of 9. We didn't meet the minimum for any of the private options and that wasn't the route I wanted to go anyways. We selected the spoons option and the hotel ended up giving us our own private room at the Siena Restaurant.Quote:

Amy, I was sooo stressed before my wedding that on numerous occassions I debated cancelling it and just eloping. Actually if people hadn't put down deposits I'm pretty sure that's what would have happened lol. BUT, even though I'm still feeling hurt by a lot of people, I have NEVER regretted doing a DW. Honestly, now that I've done it, I wouldn't even consider something at home. And for those idiots causing you stress.... you won't miss them if they don't end up coming. I didn't even miss the fact that we had NO parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles.... it didn't matter and still doesn't. Don't worry, I'm positive you'll feel the same wayQuote:

I was disappointed with turn out of my website too. Since we didn't have a lot of people attending the wedding, my plan was to use the comments page from the website in a scrapbook or something, so we had the "well wishes" to go back and read.... so much for that! I had originally said I was going to update the website as I was planning, but since barely anyone had the courtesy to even RSVP or say Congrats I said screw it! I try not to take it personally. I think when people see websites they may think "optional" or something, I'm not sure lol.

You have to provide your own sand ceremony set. The $40 is for actually performing the ceremony. They included the sand.Quote:
