Crista-Lee, tell me about it! It seemed like the cost just kept adding up and adding up! Its one of the reasons I pretty much scrapped everything I originally wanted to do and went with what I like to call "simple" lol. The photography was the only area that I really splurged. I'll keep an eye out for this photog situation.

Really? They don't even give you the option of paying the fee? That's even more ridiculous than charging the fee in the first place. Hmmmm hopefully MTM can work something out with Karisma cause I totally recommend them.

Thanks Crista-Lee! When I booked MTM they were just starting off in RM, and they had a deal going on where they covered the $500 fee for me but I had to purchase their full package. I don't think they do this anymore. They were actually the only photog that I found that would cover the fee so I guess I just lucked out big time on the timing.

Heather, I think this is really common. I know I felt that way so I can totally relate! I did something even worse though.... I bought my dress because I only wanted to go shopping once lol. That's right... I hate shopping and I wasn't leaving without a dress lol. I ended up getting something that was the complete opposite of what I thought I wanted. I bought the one that made me feel the best out of all the ones I tried on. I was nervous afterwards because I didn't feel like I LOVED it like I hear so many other brides say. But honestly, once it came time to fittings and the wedding day... I never looked back! I LOVED my dress and I wouldn't have changed it. Something else to think about - do you really think that when you put that dress on for your wedding day you'll be thinking "meh, I prob could have found something better"? If the dress makes you feel good in now it then I say stick with it! P.S you look awesome in it Good luck with whatever you choose to do!

The beach wasn't horrible all week, just after the crazy wind and rain. I mean it wasn't perfect to begin with, but it was good enough for me lol.

Keira, I love your pics! You looked amazing!!! And you're so lucky - your beach was in WAY better shape! We couldn't even get near the beach... it was basically just a huge strip of mud.... LOL OMG yeah that was me that booked MTM lol. I had been corresponding with them forever and I was delaying booking because I was waiting for some TTD shots that they were going to send. Then one day out of the blue I just thought "you know, I need to just do this so it's not lingering in my mind anymore". That was close.... Glad you found a fantastic photog! Who did you end up using?
