this has the final desination feel! from what i read, he was having a hard time dealing with the plane crash and had to take anti-anxiety drugs in order to fly since it was part of his job. he was a former addict so i guess his old drug habits came back with a vengeance. RIP.

She did mention her daughter is getting married this weekend too so I'm sure that's keeping her a little busy too. I do feel much better now and was able to send my guests info on the reduced rate! Yay, good to see that it's all worked out for you!!

Are you paying for your bridesmaids dresses?
Lady_Di replied to jawedding's topic in Wedding Etiquette, Traditions, to dos
I saw a really cute dress in watermelon dress at JcPenneys this past weekend so I grabbed the opportunity and got them! I paid $25 each for 7 dresses. I am SO stoked that I got the dresses half off!! It was a semi-formal dress. I wouldn't lose money if one or two of my bridesmaid back up at the last minute. So ladies, check out the dept stores because they're having a good sale since it'll be fall. -

If the pics are free, then go for it!!

What is accepatable to you guys? do you plan to tell you guy what you don't want him to do. Is it okay for him to dance/grind on another women? I just don't understand why it seems like guys think its okay to do all this stuff with women on the bachelor party and its okay because its their bachelor party. Any advice or thoughts on what you guys are thinking would be awesome Thanks! This is a great thread topic. I found this thread for you. you should go read and post there. http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t30412 i haven't really thought about it(because i dont want to...who wants to visualize your guy like those guys in Hangover?) but i jokingly told my FI that if he touches women at his bach party then he better enjoy it since she'll be his last woman to touch for rest of his life!

Lisa's siblings look really different from her and her brother Andres... i cant wait to see that alter ego photo shoot...that'd be fun to watch!
-
yeah dude, it's just stupid that she "all of sudden" decide she wants to get married 3 days after you...ugh, that's taking the sibling rivalry to extreme! she just wants to steal your thunder! you should talk to her and tell her that it will upset you if she goes through with it... good thing, your parents are on your side so i'm sure she will have to change her date! sometimes family just want to drive you crazy...

it's not a surprise...he was so addicted to drugs that seemed like the only thing that could get him through the day!

How should I ask my best friend to be my MOH?
Lady_Di replied to vlynnw's topic in Wedding Etiquette, Traditions, to dos
I just asked mine by writing her a card and making her a bookmark Mexican style...not too creative but words are powerful! -
My FI went to his parents yesterday and his sister was there...she told him that she is not going to go to the wedding and was crying. She told him that her husband won't sign the papers because he thinks that FI's brother is going to kidnap the girl and take her to Australia (he is supposed to go to Australia for a year). He is just crazy. She had the audacity to GET MAD at my FI for having a destination wedding. WTF is that? She asked him why are we having a destination wedding? Why not have it here at home? He had to stand up for us and explain to her again. This time his parents didn't join in the blaming game. His parents told him to take her husband if he really thinks that way. It's just getting so stupid. I'm ready to get over with this!

I am in the similar situation but it's on my FI's side. We had told everyone that we would be having a destination wedding in 2010 when we got engaged last year. His cousin's fiancee told me last Saturday that they're getting married in Cozumel in Oct 2010 when I am having mine in May 2010. So I have no idea if my FI's relatives will go to her wedding since it's so close to my wedding. His cousin's parents are already planning to come to our wedding so I have no idea if they're still having their wedding in Cozumel. So right now, it doesn't really bother me. Yesterday, a cousin on my mother's side who I don't really like told me she picked the same date as mine but had to change it since her FI's family couldn't make it. She just got engaged a few weeks ago! What a b*tch! Anyways, you may want to talk to her and let her know that some people may not go to her wedding in Hawaii since it's so expensive and maybe it would be a good idea to have it in 2011 to let people to save up for her wedding so that way they can come to both of your weddings! Hope things will go ok!
-
Am I wrong?? I don't want the B#$ch to come!!
Lady_Di replied to Lashawn's topic in Just venting or funnies
No, you are not wrong for this! If your FI doesn't care for her then it shouldn't be a problem. You don't HAVE to invite everyone. Is she the type to go uninvited? I hope not!! -

I'm now worried what the weather will be like in April and if it will be just as humid then too. Esp. on the wedding day, i dont want a crazy women's hair! lol. Just curious if you guys have thought about this? Thanks! Well, it is August so maybe in April, it'll be less humid. I hear it's humid all year anyway but maybe it won't be as bad in April! My wedding is in May too! Hopefully, it won't be VERY HUMID!!

Yeah, i totally believe that you CAN get in shape if you use your own body for resistance but then some people just can't work out at home if they need someone telling them what to do!

Some people can be just lazy, inconsiderate, too busy and etc... I would say to contact them, unfortunately. I always take time to send back any RSVP card I get! I wonder if I'm going to GET ANY RSVP on my wedding website if people can't take a minute to fill out a name and send the RSVP card back.

For some reason, I think Level 2 is the hardest. Does anyone feel this way? I absoultely HATE those squats with rear fly exercise. My shoulders scream every time I do Level 2.

Torn between a BBQ or a semi formal AHR
Lady_Di replied to August2010Bride's topic in At Home Reception (AHR)
I think a BBQ at a park is great! I am planning an informal reception either at my house or the community center. I am not too big on formal receptions and not to mention how expensive they are! Haha.
