  1. My RSVP cut off date was April 1st. I think we only got maybe 10-15 back. We sent out 70 invites. We put stamps on them and everything. People are facking lazy! We didn't follow up with people because if they really wanted to go, they would have let us know. I had put a note that said something like "please RSVP to ensure a dinner plate for your and your guests". So we're not bothering to call people or whatever. It's their losses if they DO show up at the wedding with no seat or dinner! =)
  2. Here are some info from Julie. They will not charge to take down chair sashes and put them on the reception chairs. There are parking at the resort. You can't get any credit if you don't want to use something in your package which sucks. Up to 4 can go to your room 3 hours ahead of time before ceremony without a day pass. (I really hope this is right!)

  4. I don't even know if the Royal offer parking? Some of our guests live in town or staying at other resorts will be driving to the resort. 5. Haha, you lost your mind, Amy. Your dress WILL fit, don't be silly!
  6. wow, you gave her $1000k? Where did that money go? I understand that it's so disappointing! I would be disappointed. FI is in a similar situation. He asked one of his childhood friends to be his best man along with FI's brother who is also a best man. He graciously said yes! SO fast forward, he hasn't returned calls/texts. Not even one. So FI asked his brother about it and he said that he is struggling with money issues with IRS. We were like, come on we wouldn't be mad at him if he just straight up told us that he can't go after all. This approach pisses me off. Just tell us you can't go then we would be fine! I feel bad for him since he's the guy that he grew up with. SO much for a best friend.
  7. A few days late but congratulations, Michelle!
  8. So, I barely started working on ribbon wands last night. YAY! Lol. I finished wrapping ribbon on the raffia fans though so that's something. Congrats, Jenny!
  9. Haha, I'm ready to accept a speedo man in my pictures. I'm good with that! I am sure my photographer will edit out any topless women, though!
  10. So I skimmed through the latest People issue...apparently Erin and Maks are an item. They are so cute together! He is HOT. I feel so bad for her. At first, being stalked by that idiot who videotaped her and now she's getting death threats by another stalker.

I guess I am one of few that will have the ceremony on the beach. I stopped caring about onlookers...it is a beach wedding so I'm just going to go with the flow. As long there aren't no nude women sunbathing then I'm good!

Too cheesy or no? We're just going to do the regular numbers. I don't think that is cheesy at all!!

  18. Karen, it baffles me why people will tell you that they're booked but they're not actually booked. This is why I refuse to put anyone who tells they're booked until they say they're booked at which resort and with what airline. A bit bridezilla, I know but it is expensive if there are no show guests! Heard that it was hot up there in NYC. Crazy! It's so cool right here in Texas and I love it. It was getting pretty hot this week. I did nothing last night except just sit on the couch and watch TV. I think I'm deliberately avoiding wedding stuff. It's just when I'm done cleaning up, cooking, eating and showering it's already 9 or 9:30 which is almost my bedtime! This weekend, I'm locking myself in and FINISH what I NEED to DO! Haha.
