My FMIL is throwing me a bridal shower this weekend...i saw the invitation at FI's cousin's house and I nearly cringed. On it, it says "in lieu of gifts, a wishbox will be provided" I know it doesn't sound bad but it sounds like asking for cash. We do have a registry so I am not sure why she didn't put it down.
