In a dilemma - need your opinion!!

I wouldn't want to do it either and would probably call her and just tell her that on such short notice I unfortunately can't take on this responsibility. I completely agree here! I would feel the same way. When I was reading the story, I was like, wait a minute - I'm your second choice and you didn't even want me as a guest? -
Thanks IMPPEarl, I had no idea if she left etsy or not. So, girls, I've come to the conclusion that I am not wearing that bracelet. I tried it on with my dress, flower, earrings etc and it just didn't look right with my dress. My dress has a applique lace flowers and it more of a delicate feel and the chunky bracelet looked like it didn't belong, like I need a smaller delicate bracelet. I'm still keeping it though becase I love it! and wearing it for the rehearsal! Thanks again for all the wonderful compliments!

I would love to see a picture of the "i do" toes! not sure if I would do it, but the idea is cute. I've been in so many weddings this year, I've done french pedicure for all of them and they just looked really good, clean, matched with whatever. Then I did a nude color for my fingers and I'm a big fan of this! I though tI would always do a french manicure, but once I saw a nude color, I think it just looked better - it made my nails look longer. TRY China Glaze - color Sydney Sand - i love it!

Here is the company I ordered mine from and they included the cardstock to fit the magnet inside it perfectly and the envelope (even though you already have the envelope) Wedding Invitations, Wedding Favors, Bridesmaid Gifts and much more! - NewandBlue Home Page you can purchase things separately, so if you just want the cardstock backing, you can do that. I think you should also just include anything about your travle agent, or rates, accomodations etc. If you have them ready, you should just send it with the STD. In mine, I included our TA's biz card and everyone still has it on their fridge.

Autumn! how exciting! I'm going to check out your BD pics. I love the centerpiece idea! you are putting pics of you and your hubby inside it? I was just depending on Rebeca on vases for centerpieces, should I not?....hmmmm..... -

I agree, I don't think the dry erase boards will blow away either. BUT, i think you can make some really cute pails if you want to! What are your wedding colors? If you want to make the pails "fancier" you should spray paint them silver or gold! tie a ribbon on them, decorate them jewels etc. I've spray painted other things in my house like candlesticks etc and they have turned out great! just make sure to go to your local hardware store and ask them what sort of spray paint will stay on plastic pails. Also, maybe just make one first before you go make a bunch, and even if you end up with one, it would be fun to use it for something decoration Are you having petals or anything hanging on the end of the aisles? pails would be cute!

Oh, yeah, I thought you had something that weekend, I remember now! That will be so fun! I was supposed to go to vegas the next weekend (27th-30th) but just can't really afford it (responsibly at least) so I'm not now but I have to go to vegas soon! next year! I'm hoping we will get in around 5ish. We are leaving the valley at around 1 and stopping in oc by 2, so I'm hoping to miss most of traffic..... we aren't doing much that night either

Autumn, LOVE the new pic! that's awesome! Well, this week I'm getting a lot of stuff done because I went out with the mom's and they got all crazy trying to check things off the list, but it is still hard to really get into it, because I don't know how many people are coming. I thought it was going to be about 40-45max, but now a few people are saying they are coming, so....we will see.... Also, with my job, I have to get stuff done when I can. For example, I'm leaving next Tuesday for a week for work, going to SD! when Im down there for work, I prob won't even have time to jump on this forum (so I will def have withdrawals from you girls!) Jess - I'm coming into San Marcos on Wed night and prob heading back home on Sunday afternoon. & my boss bought us all sales peeps tickets to the Padres/Cardinals game on Friday night!!! woohoo! (I'm a die hard Cardinal fan btw) then Sat is our Beer Fest for Charity! If you think you might be around that area at all Thursday night, let me know and we can exchange info!

Have you exercised today?
J&MWedding replied to destinationbride07's topic in Beauty, Exercise, Diet
did a double duty yesterday - 45 min spin class and hour kick class today, just ran 2 miles and did pushups and situps - my off day -
Have you checked out the other options on this forum, there is a thread under Wedding Attire for hair flowers? I bought mine off etsy and I'm thrilled about it!!! It was $19.99 plus $2 or whatever for shipping and it turned out amazing! The lady who made mine was butterfly enchantress on etsy.com just a thought....

Post Groom and GM attire
J&MWedding replied to TammyWright's topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
That thread Meg&Shay posted will help a lot. We are only having a best man and our officiant is our friend, so they are wearing black silk shirts (like the Tommy Bahama ones) with ivory linen pants. It looks nice all together. I would love for them to wear a suit but my FI doesn't want to. -

$3 beach towels & $1 beach bags
J&MWedding replied to *Karla*'s topic in Wedding Registry, Wedding Gift Bags, and OOT bags
Wow! what a good deal! those are the towels, correct? do you have a pic of the bag? -
Jess, you know what, I don't really. I have it all in pieces sort of, but I'm not sure when I'll put it together because I don't know how many I need. But, here is the breakdown for the welcome booklet I copied it from Mandy's Mom (I think that's who it was...?) Front Cover - cardstock paper from Michaels - really pretty watercolored paper Inside - includes welcome, itinerary, peso conversion, spanish phrases, wedding puzzle, restuarant guide for the resort w/dress code, and guest's name and relation to bride/groom (that's what I'm thinking so far...) We are planning on having them small (about 1/4 of a paper) and then punching holes in the upper left corner and then tying rafia through to hold them together. Then people can flip through them almost like flashcards or something. I might actually have a sample made up soon and then I can post that! And I should have my welcome bags done soon too (my tags are done and oh so cute, but I'm waiting to post once I get the bag done too) My mom is making the bag out of fabric from her quilt store. It didn't take much fabric at all and she is just sewing them up and then attaching a ribbon on the back to tie it closed. I'll def post as soon as I have it
