I think they may have had "girls night out" adhesives...? but other than that, I think I got the two they have. Now I just have to figure out which I'm wearing the day of! I love the one that says, "Property of the Groom"!!!!!
  3. Jess, think of $15 x 78! that's prob why they just create a package for it, huh? ps. girls, my welcome bags are almost done and I'm going to send tons of pics!!! yippee!
  4. Oh, and Rebeca did specifically write that the ceremony centerpiece (incl in the package) will be used for Bride/Groom table etc etc so that will also eliminate one centerpiece

What to do... Rebeca mentioned to me that small votice candles are included. It sounds to me that just the floral is what is charged. She basically told me whatever she has to use, I can use at no charge, and whatever I bring, she will set up at no charge. I bit the bullet and am paying $55 per table for my centerpieces - small white rose bouquet in a vase. I figure i'm only having 4 or 5 tables, so that's not too bad. I'm bringing my own table runners and crystal dangling ornaments to put in the bouquet centerpieces. She also told me that I could use silver plate chargers for $2.5 each, but I think I'm prob passing on that also. I'm making menus that have silver and iridescent color to it, so that will bring color along with the table runner and crystals.
  6. congrats! have fun planning!
  7. Welcome Melissa! March 2011 might seem far away, but trust us, it will be here before you know it! I think most of us on here have had a year and 6 month or so engagement, so it's a good fit for DWs!
  8. Noemi, I might have to take you up on your fitness offer! I'll PM you later sometime! Have fun being the MOH! and planning!
  9. Congrats on your engagement!
  10. That is awesome you are going to get to check out the resorts already! congrats!
  11. Congrats! It is so exciting! You are going to have so much fun being able to use this forum!!
  12. Ok, so here they are. The first one below are the banquet chairs included. Frankly, I like these, only because they go with my wedding colors better. If the Tiffany chairs came in grey/silver - then I might have something to think about. And $15 each can add up! I was talking to my cousin (I was the MOH for her wedding) and I couldn't even remember what her chairs looked like at her wedding in May! Banquet Chairs assembled on Las Palmas Terrace Maple Tiffany Chair (also comes in white) Chocolate Brown Tiffany Chair Avant Garde Chair
  13. My friend did the P90X and I've heard so many awesome things about it! I should get into it....hmmmm... I'm obsessed with the gym right now though, did spin class this morning, but it's not just any spin class, it's the toughest instructor. She tells us after so many songs how many glasses of wine we burned, or how many pieces of cake we can eat now - it's hilarious!
  14. Hey girls, Ill post pics of all the chairs - I have them all - give me a lil bit to download etc etc
  15. Jess, SD was a blast! too much fun! I slept for 15 hours the night I got back home. It's always crazy when everyone from work gets together. Went to Churchills twice, the baseball game, then I had to hang out in Burbank for a night. Glad to hear vegas was good! I agree, you basically have to wake up, have an energy drink, excedrin, and then a cocktail every morning to cure the hangover! That's crazy you met a guy getting married the same day in Mexico!! hahaha!!!!!!! Hey girls - did anyone hear how much the chairs cost from Rebeca? She sent me pictures of them, and none of them would necessarily work with my colors, so I think I'm just going to use the ones that are included. Any thoughts....
  16. I know many girls have posted their DIY tank tops, here are mine!! I love them! I was thinking about wearing one the day of, but I figure because my hair will be done, I can always try to shimmy out of it I guess. I got the tanks at Walmart for two for $6 and Michael's adhesives for $1 each.
  17. Well, I'm sure there are tons of options out there that other brides will post as well, but, I have a few suggestions. First, you could have your sorority sister call the party something different - instead of having it be your "Bach Party", just have a girls night, not sure if this will work, but it's a thought. This year alone I've been in many weddings and been a part of the planning process for the bridal shower and bach party, and everyone knows that it is the MOH's responsibility to plan the bach party and I think most people know not to step on her toes - I think your sorority friend would understand your concern for not hurting your MOH's feelings. Have you talked to her yet about some of your concerns? I think there is a way to be considerate and still appreciative and just ask your sorority sister what she thinks about this.
  18. Josie, I can't wait to see pics of it!!!! I have my first dress fitting with my Maggie next Wed!!! yipee!
  19. this morning, ran mile and half again, and did some weights with push ups, going to Core class this afternoon and running on the beach with FI - trying to get him in shape too!
