So, I already started asking Rebeca about flower options. I asked her if white orchids, white roses, white hydrangea would be an option. She checked with the florist and she said they could do white orchids and white lisianthus (not sure if I spelled that one correctly....) and that it would cost $70 for mine and $85 for my MOH. I just wanted to share this with my fellow Dreams brides just for info. If anyone else gets info for flowers or anything, keep posting it! I'm thinking it's not worth paying that much extra since I get my bouquet for free with my package, so I'll probably look into just white roses, and maybe keep the lisianthus.

She was very nice in her email. She said she understood why I would be worried, and aknowledged my concerns, and that everything is confirmed and that if I had any questions to just let her know.

Jamie, I'm doing candle centerpieces too at Dreams, at the terrace. Rebeca at Dreams knows that I want candles, and I think it's going to be fine. I was going to do floating candles, but I figure we can put them in hurricans if it gets windy...

nikki! thanks for that post! I think I'm going to start posting a few blogs on our website and include articles like that one. I didn't really want anything sad/downer on our wedding website, but I think people will like to see it anyways.

oh good! I know, right now, my TA has some really really good rates it seems and my friend found a good rate on Travelocity, so I'm just trying to slightly push everyone to grab those good rates now. I have some family that was being weird about all of the violence too. I thought I saw something in the forum, but if there is an article/summary explaining how it IS safe in for our guests, I think it would be nice to post on our wedding website, or email out to everyone....hmmmm. im gona look for something...

Jess - I was just noticing how you already have 34 booked!!!!!! I feel a little worried because we just sent out our STD's about two weeks ago, so everyone is just now starting to book. I have received 18 "yes" rsvp's but only 6 have actually booked. Our guest list is about 160 ppl total. Oh well, they will start soon I guess.... I just can't wait until my "number" gets to the 30-40 range!

Hey everyone! I'm starting to get a little worried and angry! I wired Paulina my deposit last Friday, it was debited this Monday, and I still have not heard any confirmation from her. I emailed her three times and told her if I don't hear from her tomorrow, Friday, then I would consider the money gone and start taking any necessary steps...what is going on? Did anyone else experience this with her. I understand she can take a few days to get back to me, but she has to understand that I just sent her quite a bit of money and i feel like it's just floating around somewhere.... If DD hadn't used her so many times and there hadn't been so many reviews on her, i would have thought she was a con artist by now.... maybe I'm being impatient, but I think it's curteous to at least send acknowledgement of funds immediately. sorry girls, had to vent a little....

I was surprised, today it was easy. A while ago, I started a new account at Wells Fargo and tried to wire money to Dreams and it was such a hassle!!! But today, I wired it from my bank, WaMu and it was FREE and easy! It is a pain, but once it's done, it feels great to have another thing checked off!

did anyone else feel weird wiring money?... I just finished wiring money and I did sort of feel like I was sending money to the land of no return....any feedback to put me at ease? I sent it to Paulina for photography, so I know it's safe. I scratched out my bank account number but left the transfer confirmation number. I guess I'm just anxious to get a confirmation back from her, but I am excited to have that checked off my list so early on.

Marie, I just thought of something else. Are you getting married at Dreams too? My wedding package comes with a videographer too, so I'll have that as well for memories. I figure 100 photos to choose from Paulina was enough....

awwww! you girls are so sweet! thank you for your thoughts! I have been just doing to instant oatmeal from Trader Joes - it says, "Heart Healthy Whole Grain, made with Flaxseed and Plant Sterols" in Cranberry blend. I don't know, it works for me. Sometimes I switch it up and have a high fiber piece of toast with egg, but usually around 10am I always eat again, apple, hard boiled egg. something like that.

So I started the beginning of the year, and I've lost 16 lbs as of today! I told my FI, you know what feels even better!? The fact that I have done it in a healthy way and it hasn't been agony. I didn't have to starve myself or anything drastic. My wedding isn't until Dec so I was able to take my time and do it healthy. I work out at least 4 times a week, but usually it ends up being 5-6 times. I have become obsessed with Spin Classes! I swear my hips have shrunk dramatically and I can fit into two sizes smaller in my jeans from these classes! I watch what I eat, but by no means, am I obsessed with it. If I want a cocktail or glass of wine, I try not to drink multiple days in a row. and I eat every few hours each day. I also swear by Oatmeal in the morning! even if you don't like it, just suck it up and eat it! It makes you feel full and it's healthy! I just think there is no secret to getting fit for your wedding. It you have motivation, you will do it! Hope this motivates others out there, because it motivates me! I'm using Traveler's Joy. I like Jamie's idea of incorporating the 7.5% charge in the amount of the gift. My mother also begged me to have a physical registry, which we didn't need, but we were able to register for some selfish gifts that we would like, for example an espresso maker for me I just told everyone that the honeymoon registry was our "primary" registry... That way they know this is what we prefer...

I just went on Papermart too. First time on the website. I was looking at the heavy duty vinyl tub bag - clear. I only need about 50, and these are only about $1 each, perfect! I really wanted to personlize the bag, but I'm thinking if I put everything in it, and then create maybe a sticker with our logo, I can just put the sticker on the bag. plus, it's a bag that can probably be re-used.... thoughts?....

Ah, that's too bad! I only need 50-60 and the minimum was 150 when I went to order. Oh well! I knew it sounded too good to be true It's a great offer for anyone else who needs that many shot glasses.
