hey girls! I was trying to post this on abc's website, but that website sucks to use. I have never chimed in on these threads, but I have info and I can't not share! So...my friend actually is on the set of the bachelor (every season) so she knows the outcome, who gets the girl, who gets kicked off, who is not there for the right reasons. I don't let her give me any hints because I want to be surprised. But, the last episode when Jillian sent Reid home, it was a good thing (sorry for all you Reid fans..) Ok, before I talked to my friend, I was a Reid fan - I thought him and J were perfect for each other - relaxed, fun, loving relationship - I really did like him... but my friend said when they were in Spain, she saw Reid hitting on girls (obviously on his off day with Jillian) and she was telling me that he just really isn't into Jillian - he is just there because he wants to be the next Bachelor. My girlfriend said she saw him go for more the blonde girls and she witnessed him hitting on other girls in Spain. So, I'm sure he won't get picked and he shouldn't. Not saying I don't like him, just setting the record straight for everyone that thought he was into Jillian.

Lauren, I might be copying you on your wedding drinks! I like the idea of naming them after significant places in your relationship. I actually remember the exact street name we were at when he first said "i love you" (Main St) so how easy is that to name a drink after it! I just emailed rebeca and asked her which beers and wine by the glass were included. so thanks for giving me the heads up on that. so helpful!

KarenM, I was just PMing Jess about the menu. I believe Lauren said that dish was good in her review thread (but I'll let her speak for herself), I was going to order that main course, but I thought some of our guests would get a weird if they knew the sauce was bone marrow (even though I heard it's really good! and I would eat it!) so Rebeca said I could add a second option for the menu, but I would need to tell her a month in advance what each person would order and there is absolutely no changes after that. Since I'm probably having about 40-45 people, I figure I can call each guest a month before and ask them what they would like personally, and then let Rebeca know. And if it's such a big deal, we are at an AI.

In my contract, it said I had one hour drinks/appetizers and then a 4 hour reception/private service (so 5 hours total. I heard they kick you out at about 10pm (I think Lauren said that...) - but as many brides have mentioned previously, if guests want to continue on the party, you can move it to one of the bars at the resort, but I figure all day at a AI, guests will passing out by 10pm at the latest....but I could be wrong....

So!!!! excited! just ordered my guestbook from Blurb! Hope it turns out good! instead of photos from us, I purchased a few photos from the internet of puerto vallarta, and put those photos on the right hand side (I wanted to create more of a coffee table book so we can keep it out all the time). on the left hand side, there will be lines for guests to write notes to us. and at the header of each page is a quote - a quote about marriage, some funny, some sweet. I love it! I had some really funny quotes and on the inside flap, I wrote a little dedication to my FI

I actually just put together a guestbook from Blurb today! and I'm ordering it, so as soon as I get it, I'll post pics and comments! I don't think they take that long to send....

I have read the comment about Blurb and I plan on using it to make our own guestbook, but I want to have pictures of Puerto Vallarta on the pages and make it like a coffee table book (like someone else mentioned on here) Does anyone know where to download high res photos? (preferably very cheap!) I found this one website but it was $7 to download two photos.

Not sure if this is random, but I just thought of it today because I just got a few small bug bites on my arms and I was thinking - this can't happen before the wedding! To everyone: I emailed Rebeca a list of the bar beverages to make a bar menu with, and she basically listed all the typical alcoholic drinks. I asked her about a signature wedding cocktail and she said that was fine to add too. (Lauren, I think you did this) She didn't list beer and wine, but I'm assuming that is included....? If so, does anyone know the list of the basic beer/wine? I've been emailing her a lot (and I know that's her job) but I just thought I would ask you past brides instead of asking her again for such a little question. (I try to build up at least 4 questions before I email her and then email her all at once) Thanks!

Autumn, I can't wait! (in response to your question....) I think I'm starting to dive into the bridezilla realm.... uh oh! My FI asked me the other night, "are you looking at wedding stuff on your computer?" and when I obviously lied, he said "you need to relax." I'm just an obsessive planner by nature! I already have the next two months planned out - just how I have to be for my job and my life, so I think I just like checking things off the list! I have been emailing the Dreams PV WC a lot recently and I sort of feel bad, but she has been really nice about it. Sometimes she gets back to me in one day sometimes two... but i keep having all these random questions for her! Good news though, she said taht I coudl send her my music list and she would give it the DJ to start downloading etc. I'll still bring a back up, but it would be nice if he have everything already.

I am helping my aunt find hat invitations for my bridal shower and they are really hard to find. I have found a few really cute ones but they are pretty expensive - at this point, I bought plain invites and thinking about adding a clip art of a hat at the top, but I can't even find anything good enough for that. I really don't want to spend over $100 on paper that people are just going to throw away... any ideas out there? Oh, and it's a derby hat theme- like hats you would wear to the horse races...

I bought these from Oriental Trading like most brides, and I do like them, but they just aren't going to fit in my OOT bags. I'm going to switch and go buy those sandalwood fans from Michaels. I bought 36 of them from OT - two bags aren't even open, the first picture is to show the varience between sizes - but this is a known fact from getting these from OT. I would have kept them but my mom is making the OOT bags and it'll just be easier with something different. I'm only selling all of them together - $25 for all 36 plus shipping? I live in CA if that matters to you girls for shipping purposes..... just PM me if interested.

I'm sorry if this is the simplest thing to do, and I swear I'm normally pretty good on figuring things out, but I just can't seem to do this. I'm trying to place a palm tree sort in the background and then at the top put our names and date and then at the bottom list the songs - not too complicated. I got the avery labels, but I guess I'm bad at formatting what I want on the template?! I typically can figure things out. How do you write at the bottom of the template (for the songs)? Do I need to create a text box? I have to admit, I'm close to just buying labels already done because It's taking me way too long.
