  1. No, unfortunately they are not located next to each other. The two closet resorts to Paradisus Palma Real are the Melia Caribe Tropical (which both are owned by Sol Melia Resorts) or the Eden NH Real Arena. Both of those resorts are cheaper options for those guests who find PPR a bit too pricey. Keep in mind though that for your wedding day, a lot of resorts charge a visitor fee for a day pass (usually up until 6pm) and then for a night pass past 6pm. I know that the Melia Caribe charges $95 for a day pass and then another $95 for a night pass...it might be about the same since the PPR and Melia are owned by the same company.

  10. Nice choice JodJ! Congrats on finding a new resort and I'm sure that everything will be wonderful. My g/f was supposed to be married in the Mayan Riveria the first week of May and it too was canceled due to H1N1 (aka swine flu). She regrouped and was able to change to DR for the same date as her Mexico wedding. She has since returned and says that she had a wonderful wedding in Punta Cana. Congrats and we can't wait to hear all about it!
