Hi everyone! Thanks for all the wonderful advice! I just thought I'd give you all an update since I posted this.
I decided to change my diet up a bit...AND I've changed my exercise regime to more intense cardio routines and lots of cardio in between weight training sets. I joined a yoga class (which I LOVE). I took a lot of your advice and it really seems to be working for me.
Drum roll please....I've lost 5 lbs in the last 2 weeks...my body fat percentage went down quite considerably too! I am just going to keep pushing through and TRY to stop looking at the numbers so much and just enjoy being more active and fit. 6 months ago, there was no way I could run for 5 minutes straight and now, not only is that easy for me but I can double it without being out of breath.
Thanks girls for all of your wonderful advice...it makes me realize that I am not the only one out here who has struggled with hitting a plateau. Please keep posting anything else that may be of help to all of us with the same problem!
