  1. I think that if someone is comfortable enough to "let it all hang out" then more power to them! I'm not easily shocked (however, I am in the health care profession so believe me, I've seen alot!) and I don't feel uncomfortable seeing someone who is bold enough to breastfeed without cover. Now, would I do it? Nope! I did breastfeed my daughter until she had enough teeth to bite (OUCH!) but then again, I am a modest person and very rarely would even publicly breastfeed at all....it made for some serious lack of adult social time on my part though! But, that's just me....and I certainly would never begrudge someone for feeling uncomfortable about a public display of breasteses...even under the pretense of nourishment! LOL!
  2. My advice would be to spend what you can afford. If it is within reason to spend 4 grand on the dress of your dreams than go for it! I set my budget for $1000.00 but ended up spending twice as much as that, knowing full well that I would have to pull in some serious overtime to be able to pay it off when the time came. I did, and it was SOOOO worth it for me. I don't think that there is anything wrong with spending a small fortune on your wedding dress provided that you won't go into serious debt for something that you will wear for one day (or two if you are having an AHR). I have watched a bride walk down the aisle in a dress that cost no more than $100.00 and on the other side of the spectrum, been to a wedding where the gown cost over $10,000.00 (and believe me, she could afford it!)... Anyway, I guess what I am trying to say is that if it is within your budget to get the Jim Hjelm that you have fallen in love with...then there is no reason to have to justify spending that money on the dress of your dreams!

  7. Thanks for the heads up Shellb...I did book a trial appointment as well for the "just in case". My MOH was married at the Majestic in 2007 and I remember that she ended up doing her own hair AFTER her salon appointment. I figure I'll get a good idea with the trial whether or not to have it done the day of the wedding or not. I know that there is another salon over in the Palma Real mall beside the resort as well...depending on their prices, I may have to check that out too?....
