We aren't paying for our wedding party either. Travel is so expensive these days!! We are paying for our wedding parties attire and I am making special Welcome Bags for all of them. We are having a privite reception and are paying for the food and music. I think that's good enough.. they are also getting a vacation out of the deal!! I let them know well in advance that I would like them to be in the wedding party, so they have had plenty of time to save!! None of my girls are married and most of them live at home still.. so I don't see how over a year's notice isn't enough time. Most people do DW to save money, well at least this is why we are!!

Does the bride & groom and wedding party have to pay?? I mean really.. who wants wristbands in their pics?? I wonder if you can just tape them back together after the pics are taken?

Our wedding is in 7 months.. I have already found the pants for the guys and I'm in the process of trying to find the shirts. If you want it done you have to do it yourself.. there are only a select number of men out there that actually worry about the details of their own wedding. They pretty much think they can just show up and that's it. My FI had no idea about all the little things that go into planning a wedding until I started planning!! Clueless... but don't stress.. your wedding will turn out wonderfully and you will wonder why you were so stressed when you are pronounced Husband & Wife!! Good Luck

I think it looks amazing on you I love the jewels around the bust line.. nice detail!! Not a huge fan of the veil, but thats because I'm not really inti them. Overall, you are going to look great in that dress!!

So many great ideas! Thanks Ladies I just hope I can get all of this stuff to Mexico!! What is everyone else's plan of action to get their welcome bags to their destination? Moon Palace in Mexico will not let you ship ANYTHING there. I'm hoping my wedding party will help out with some of this??

We started dating in July '07 and moved in together August '07. We got engaged October 11, '07 and we got pregnant November '07 and had our beautiful daughter August 13, '08. We are getting married May 4th, '09 So, by the time we are married we will have been together 1 year and 10 months!! When you know you know.. I am happier than I have ever been and my life is so blessed!! On top of our little family we both have wonderful families that absolutely love and support us.. I couldn't ask for anything more.
