hi melanie! i am a future Moon Palace Bride and I have found sooo much information on this forum. make sure you subscribe to the Moon Palace Brides thread so you could chat with other MP brides! What wedding package will u be doing?

i'm bumping this for you! my BD photographer said about 2-3 months for me. that's after you pick which ones you want to keep.

moon palace is also more secluded than the hotels in Cancun's Hotel Zone.

moon palace is kid friendly and has an a la carte japanese restaurant as well. it's far enough from downtown cancun, but close enought to party there for a couple of nights.

which TTD session package did you get with Vincent? Did you have 2 locations?

Thank you! i am checking out Nordstrom's and Macy's first, but I am leaning towards Swarovski for the earrings. I've seen them there before. Pearl studs with crystal drop chandeliers. I will post pictures when I see them =)

i made sooo many attempts to call Palace Resorts to get a sample of the videography from the resort. i even went as far as talking directly to Moon Palace's Photo and Video department. unfortunately, they don't have videos to share right now. what the lady told me was that u choose your videographer when u meet with your WC the day after you arrive at the resort. they have 2 videographers to choose from and will have samples of the videos they have done. i am sooo nervous about the videography myself. i've been searching this site for videography reviews and hopefully samples from other brides' weddings. i hope someone will post their videography from moon palace soon. that way we all could see what the resort video photog could do.

i seriously will! i looked at their store hours for today online last night and some of them close at 7. maybe u could stop by after work? today is the day before thanksgiving and mostly people are already on vacation. maybe your boss will be a little forgiving if you take a long lunch

i love the cascading details in the back and the pleated bust! don't feel bad! i bought a designer dress for my wedding and 1 week later went to David's Bridal for my TTD. Now i'm on a hunt for a 3rd dress--planning to get it at a sample sale from one of my favorite designers. this is your wedding and only chance to do whatever you want. have fun playing dress-up and experiment on as many looks as you want! this is your day afterall =)

congratulations!!! Maribel is making her rounds! I sent her an e-mail yesterday asking how i could incorporate a civil ceremony with our catholic ceremony. that way i would be married to my FI the same day my wedding is legalized =) wish me luck!!!

do not give up on photographer or videographer! i read from sooo many bridal magazines and heard from other brides that this is the most important thing EVER! a $300 suit is NOT expensive at all. that's the average price of suits from Banana Republic which is geared towards the average Joe/Jane at work. a suit never gets old---cost of style. you're always going to need a suit, it's not really a one time purchase. this is your wedding. have fun! you're investing on memories and a lifetime commitment! =)

thanks for the explanation! i didnt mean to offend anyone by asking what happened when a photographer got banned. i was just wondering. i'm a rule follower so i trust your judgement.

she introduced herself to me as the WC who will be helping me from the resort from now on. i will ask her, though, if she will be my actual WC. i agree that 1 week turn around is horrible. just keep trying in a string of e-mails. that's what i would do.

so sorry that you feel like you're not getting anywhere with the WC's! perhaps you'll get a response by Dec 5th? the miami office doesnt do anything extraordinary to have teh WCs from cancun contact you. Miami simply emails the WC in cancun to contact you---just like that. i know cause i saw the email thread from Maribel. good luck to you!!!
