Best of Luck Ladies! congrats on getting your details and events confirmed!!! how did you get away with getting an outside photographer? will there be a wedding at the chapel gazebo during your cocktail at the chapel garden? I am interested cause i am booked for a wedding in the chapel gazebo and i would like a cocktail hour in the chapel garden as well. I'm just hoping no one else is getting marrie during our cocktail party =) thanks!!!
  3. Wow, what a great thread! Thanks for the ideas ladies! I am still figuring out what flower arrangement to get for my wedding. I want something pink =)
  4. $1,200 is not bad at all!!! the photographer we are going with will cost us $3,500 just for TTD! Don't feel bad! I think you got a great deal, but remember that you do get what you pay for. I agree with the other brides' suggestions of consulting your photographers past TTD to see the work they've done so far. I would pay close attention to the quality of the pics in the cenote. a photographer needs special lighting for that place. does the $1,200 fee include an assistant?
  5. get another cheap dress for TTD! I am wearing a Rivini Couture dress for my wedding and i AM NOT wearing it for TTD. Instead, I am either getting a dress from David's Bridal or a used one online. i am looking for a poofy princess dress to wear for TTD. running on the beach/jungle looks heavenly when you have a big white wedding gown =)
  6. just be careful ladies... the group rates are sometimes more expensive than the published rates online. i experienced this with AA flying from SFO to Cancun =(
  7. wow, sorry to hear about that horrible WC!!! Great pictures!!!! which one of the del sol photographer took you photos? Do you have any TTD as well?

Thats not what the attachment said that I have seen about standard decor on here or that I have been sent by other Moon Palace brides on here. I find it very strange because it had white, sky blue. green and hot pink as standard colours. that is very odd that they don't have any colors! are they expecting you to pay extra how did you choose David Pina as the photographer? Do you have links to his site or samples of his photographs?
  9. have a great trip amduran! thank you for all the docs and pictures you've provided us. looking forward to reading your review when you return MARRIED!!! =)
  10. You are such a lucky lady!!!! Vincent's photos are amazing. I am sooo sold on Del Sol Photography! I spoke to Matt today and inquired about Vincent's availability to photograph our wedding. I told him i am sooo ready to book Vincent ASAP! WISH ME LUCK, LADIES! =)
  11. welcome to the forum, fellow MP soon to be bride! =)
  12. Hey Matt!!! You, your WIFE Sol, and the entire del Sol team totally rock!!! i am in-love with your photography. in fact, Sol just e-mailed me back saying that you and your associates are available for my wedding. i cannot to do business with del Sol. I love your photos, but it may be a bit out of our budget so we're considering Vincent. His pictures are awesome. i hope we get to speak soon!!! have you guys done work at Moon Palace Cancun before?
  13. Hi Elizabeth, Thank you for responding to my inquiry so quickly! Too bad you're already booked for my wedding. I would have loved to have you as our photographer! =) you take amazing pictures!!!

Has anyone had experience with this? Thanks again Laura Is any bride using the photos included in their package for another time. Hi Laura, we are also planning on hiring another photographer for the wedding. i am wondering if you could have more than 1 photographer on the same day. i am planning on using the photographer that's included in our package for the welcome dinner or extra camera for candid shots during the ceremony and reception. i really want an outside photographer for our portraits or posed photo sessions with my soon to be husband and family.

But, my FH and I both KNOW we want to get married at the Moon Palace, so I should just book it! Craziness! just book it! the last thing you want is to find out your wedding date is unavailable then have to pick another date. this is your wedding. if you and your fiance are determined to be married at Moon Palace, then do it! you neeeevver know who will show up to your wedding. you'll be surprised at how many people will want to go once they receive your save the date cards. a destination wedding gives people a chance to finally go on vacation! attending your wedding is such a motivation. plus, if you make your guests part of your wedding party, the incentive to go jumps higher. go and submit your wedding date request! =)

It looks beautiful - but would love any thoughts! Many thanks. Hi! We chose Moon Palace because out of all the kid-friendly all inclusives in the Cancun/Playa del Carmen/Riviera Maya area, Moon Palace has the most amazing wedding program! i believe it's also one of the one of the rare instances where you could get married catholic at the resort. a close choice was Dreams Cancun. what won me over was the large gazebo and the horse drawn carriage. i dont want my guests under direct sun during the wedding ceremony. hope this helps!
  17. welcome to the forum nina! there so many Moon Palace brides here... including myself =)
  18. welcome to the forum, fellow April bride to be!
  19. wow, $1000 is not bad at all! the average i've seen on the forum for a 7-nights stay is around $1200-1500.
