Thanks everyone! I'm so excited! I had been VERY bad before I started this and just ate whenever and whatever I wanted. The motivation I got from you guys, plus the commitment to the goal was what gave me the dedication to follow through. I still have a long way to go, but this was a great jump start to the process. Thanks to everyone who participated and a special thanks to Ann for all of her hard work. I can't wait till we start BL5, but in the meantime will we still all come back here to chat about progress and commitment? Or should we start a different thread? Something like a BBLs (Between Biggest Losers) thread? I don't want to lose the momentum, yanno? Congrats to everyone for their hard work. Together we can succeed at reaching all of our goals!

I just sent in my final weigh in. Sorry I've been MIA from posting recently. I just started a new job (coaching girls basketball - and I've been practicing with the girls so that has really helped in addition to my workouts) and we just moved, so I've been really busy. Morgan, your before and afters look great! I wish I could show mine, but I've still got a lot to lose, so I'm not ready yet. But I think I did pretty well this go-round. Mother nature brought me a gift last week, but I avoided some strong cravings and came out pretty well this week. Good luck to all of you girls! I can't wait till BL5!

Arg! I left last Tuesday for a conference and forgot to send in my picture with all my running around and last minute packing. I never even made it down to the business center to email Ann. (Sorry, Ann!) I'm sending in my weight right now though. I did super well all last week at the conference. The only hard time was breakfast (they had a free hot breakfast at the hotel) but the eggs were fake and everything else was bad bad bad (muffins, pastries, etc.) So I just had coffee in the mornings. Keep up the great work everyone. And congrats TA Jill for last week's weigh-in!

If you want to use some form of birth control and still aren't good at remembering to take the pill every day (like me) the Nuva Ring is great! Ask your doc about it. I give it 2 thumbs up!

Girls! I am so disappointed in everyone! Aren't we supposed to use this thread to encourage each other to eat healthy and work out? It seems to me like it's become a place to rationalize eating junk food and drinking copious amounts of alcohol. I know everyone can do better than that! So come on, lace up your running shoes, slip into your spandex work-out outfit (you know, that hot pink onesie with a thong!) and start grooving to the oldies! (Or whatever your workout of choice is.) And put down the pizza, skip the skittles, can the candy, just completely forget about the fridge... and get serious about the Biggest Loser 4! We can all do this, but we need each other for encouragement, not to help us rationalize. ("well... if SHE ate two whole mini-pizzas, three candy bars, 4 hotdogs, a whole bag of chips, and had 6 beers, then it won't be so bad if I do it...") GO BDW Girls!! GO BL4 Girls!! We can do it!!!

Hanna - What a great idea! I just sent her a message. I hope she checks her myspace (because I never do). IslamoradaBride- yep, you hit the nail on the head. That's a pretty accurate description! I know it's not a traditional wedding type dress, but I've never been much of a fan of "traditional." I've never really LOVED dresses, but this one caught me by surprise.

I'm not a huge fan of the show, but I caught the final rose ceremony of Season 12 (Matt Grant) and fell in love with the dress the girl who lost (Chelsea Wanstrath) was wearing. I did a LOT of searching, but this was the best picture I could come up with: I know it's a long shot, but does anyone know anything about this dress? Or happen to have other pictures of it? Or even have thoughts on using this dress (or something like it) as a wedding dress?

FWIW, I like the first image (two starfish) best if you are trying to stay away from "cutesy". Also, I think it will make it more elegant to take the lime green out. When I think of "elegant" usually it has a less varied color palatte. So I'd stick with the blues and blacks and maybe keep the little bit of pink for the RSVP part. You want that to stand out so people don't miss it! ~PS - I like the other starfish images... I just think they are "cuter" than the first one.

Oh the cut backs... I want to share mine too, but they’re not so much an economy thing as an I-quit-my-job-and-moved-to-austin-to-be-with-my-fiance-and-start-my-own-company thing: *I sold my beloved Jeep Wrangler (I bought my first one when I was 19 years old. Now I'm 28 and have never owned anything else.) But the gas was killing me. I got something much more fuel efficient (double the gas mileage!) That was my hardest sacrifice. *We eat all of our meals at home now. I too make a menu for the week and shop from there. And I tailor the menu to use up the rest of whatever we have in the house before adding new ingredients. *I'm bathing my dog at home now. She used to go to the groomer because she's so hard to handle in the bath tub (she HATES the water). But now I suffer through her baths with her. *I tweeze my own eyebrows. I know that one sounds dumb, but I hate doing it. I've always gotten them waxed at the salon. *FI stopped his subscriptions to ESPN the Magazine and to Sports Illustrated. Now he just goes to their websites. *I stopped buying gossip magazines. But really this one isn't because I wanted to save money. I am boycotting them because I think that they ruin people's lives (honestly, Britney wouldn't be half as messed up as she is if she didn't have paparazzi up her @$$ 24/7) *I picked up a side job. Ok, once again, this isn’t really a budget enhancing thing… it doesn’t pay very well, but it’s doing something I LOVE. I’m going to be coaching girl’s basketball at a private high school. *I cancelled my gym membership. I belonged to LA Fitness in Houston, but they don’t have any locations in Austin. I considered joining 24 hour fitness here, but instead I am using my (dusty) workout videos and taking my dog for more runs. All of these things took a little getting used to, but I think in the long run, the benefits outweigh the negatives.

This is great! I think I'm doing pretty well so far. I spent last Wednesday through Friday night back home in Houston packing up my house and moving out. I worked from 6:00 am - 1:00 am on Wed, then 6:30 am - 2:30 am on Thursday, and then 7:00 am - 10:30 pm on Friday. I was so busy I didn't have much time for eating, and I definitely wasn't snacking. So moving big boxes around must have burned some mega-calories and with very few cals going in, I hope the scale shows big improvements tomorrow. Oh, also, I got back to Austin at 1:00 am on Friday and then we left for Dallas at 8:30 am on Sat. We went to a surprise party that night. The evite said they were going to be serving BBQ (which is good for my low carb diet if I stay away from the fatty stuff and the sauce) but when I got there I found out that they changed the theme to Mexican Fiesta - which isn't good for low cal or low carb ... AND they had a margarita machine! (Margaritas are my weakness) But I only had one margarita and FI picked out pieces of chicken from his chicken enchiladas for me. On Sunday we watched football with his guy friends and when they ordered wings I had a salad. I'm trying not to let myself get on the scale more than once a week. In the past, if I weighed myself everyday I'd only get upset. So I'm really excited to see the result tomorrow!

I love the puppy place cards too. It's a good way to have your pooch there with you, since they can't actually be there with you. Love it!

I'm with most everyone else. The first one has the "wow" factor. People will walk away from your wedding and remember the dress.

And the bad thing is that when I eat bread, I crave more of it. But when I don't have any, I stop wanting it, which makes for a great cycle breaker. But the first couple weeks of a low carb diet always make me really cranky. I feel bad for my FI, but he'll appreciate it when I look my best on the beach!

Thanks a bunch! I'm excited to be in it with everyone. I'm doing low carb, which worked wonders for me before. The belly weight is usually the first to start coming off. Also, I don't know if anyone does diet pills (or if that's a taboo) but I love Xantrex-3. Thoughts on diet pills, anyone?
