  4. For those brides who had guests 25-40, did they want to go off the resort to party or was there enough for them to do on the resort?

    I'm new here

Hello and Welcome to the Site. You're going to love it here!!!

It was traditional but when I put it on I knew that I had finally found the perfect one. I never let the fact that I was getting married on the beach totally affect the style of dress I wanted. So to answer your question, its perfectly fine to go with something traditional if thats what you want & thats what you like. Don't avoid the "traditional" dress just because you think you can't be traditional on a beach! KWIM? My only suggestion would be to definitely try on all types/styles of dresses, especially a type that you wouldn't normally consider cuz you never really know how its going to look until you actually try it on. You could always go traditional for the ceremony & go informal/light for the reception...that is if 2 dresses are in your budget! Hope I helped you. Thanks for your comments. I just read the other one from another thread. I guess I feel the pressure because it's like I can't move on with things (BM dresses, FG dresses, etc.) until I find my dress.
  7. Who this was really helpful. I just read all 16 pages. I hope you brides will look at this and answer a question I have. After having a DW, what type of dress do you suggest? Do you think it's alright to wear "traditional" wedding dress or do you suggest a more informal, lighter one?
  8. As I told you before, YOUR WORK IS AMAZING!!!! Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful slideshow! You really mesmerize me!
  9. The rain stopped: No more problems (the last page went everywhere, we have a lot of issues)

On the "bunched" up parts, it looks like they are bunched in flowers, up close it's really pretty (I tried it at a trunk show) If you want, I can send you some pictures of it up close. I will also get you some more dresses like that.
  17. Ok, I have been looking for a dress for about three months. I CAN'T FIND ONE!! I'm looking for a dress that's "THE ONE" when I put it on but just haven't found it. I did find a dress that I tried on as a joke. Because I'm getting married in Mexico, I thought it would give me a Mexican/Spanish feeling but it may be a little too much for the beach. I really like the dress though Meredith - by Maggie Sottero I just don't know what style of dress I'm looking for. I don't want it to be too informal because I still want to look like a bride but I don't want it to be too much for a beach destination wedding. Some of what I thought are below. PLEASE HELP ME WITH ANY OPINIONS!!!! 18. Ok, I agree with your decision. Wear the necklace and bracelet with studs. You can wear the earrings to another event. Don't wear the sash, I'm not too fond of them. Wear the flower in your hair. I'm thinking if you have a welcome dinner you should maybe wear a cute little number (maybe white) with the sash and the earrings and the necklace and bracelet to "bling" yourself out (or maybe your not supposed to wear them before the wedding) I LOVE your dress on who. If you don't mind me asking, who is the designer? Is it lightweight?
