Thanks for the sunglasses! I love them and I am sure that my guests will love them in the HOT Las Vegas sun!!! I was even able to get some sunglasses for my 5 yr old niece.

That is actually a good idea. I am making bags for my guests and have been wondering how to get them to the destination. I usually overpack and wouldn't have room to pack anything besides my things.

You should send them now. I am trying to get a date finalized so I can get mine sent out and my wedding is in July 2009. I will be sending mine out in November.

I have to admit that I would feel the same way that you do. It was YOUR wedding and she was YOUR bridesmaid. Your bridesmaid should have made more of an effort to include him in activities that the group did together and not just go off and not be seen for the next few days. Like you say, it was your guests vacations too and they are in a long distance relationship so they wanted to have time for themselves and to spend it how they wanted to. However, this does not mean they vanish while they are there. Where there activities planned for the entire group to attend while there? If so, and if she did not come to these as well, that is totally not right. You should still voice your concern to her about how you are feeling because if you all don't talk about it in a calm manner without yelling then nothing will get resolved. Good luck! I feel your frustration.

Please let me know how your wedding goes. I am very interested to get your opinion after experiencing the Little Chapel of the Flowers. I think we are going to do Pampas after the ceremony during lunch time though since I want to have the ceremony late morning.

My FI and I are paying for our wedding as well. We too wanted to go to get married in Hawaii just to two of us and then do something here. When we started talking about how much we wanted to spend, well that kind of took Hawaii out of the options. If you still want to do a beach wedding, how about considering somewhere in Mexico or the Carribbean for just the two of you on the beach which will be much less than going to Hawaii. That way you two can get more for your money and even some all-inclusive options.

I am so sorry for your loss. I don't have first hand experience on what you must be going through right now, but I do have a twin sister and can understand your pain. I have been trying to decide where we are going to stay for our wedding in Las Vegas in July and the options are between MGM, Mandalay Bay, & Caesar's Palace. I have stayed at the MGM before and really liked it. I don't know that I will have my ceremony there though because it is more than we want to pay.

Well, I got into a situation that in the back of my mind I knew was too good to be true. We are having our wedding in Las Vegas and I was searching EBAY one day and found a 8day/7 night hotel stay at the Venetian Hotel and Resort for $250!!! I thought WOW, this was awesome. I read further and it also stated that we would also have to pay the hotel taxes which we thought would be another $300 or so but that was still Great and also have to choose 2 dates 30 days apart!! When we got ready to bid, we saw there was a make an offer option so we offered $200. Well, WE WON IT! A few days later, we received a voucher in the mail that now said we needed to submit a $35 money order to receive the reservation form. WTF!!! There was no mention of this in the auction information so I emailed the person. He said it was something he had to do for his company, so we mailed the money order and form to get our reservation form. Another week later I received the reservation form and was getting excited. The next morning, I receive an email from paypal and EBAY that they removed this listing because of suspicious activity and suspected fraudulent activity. OK, now I am freaking out! I immediately get on the phone with paypal to dispute the transaction to get my $ back. The rep said that the guy has 10 days to respond to the dispute and if no response, I should have my money back on the 12th day!!!!! Whew!!! Hopefully everything goes fine and I get my money back. I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER!!!

I think most FI go through this phase. He was the one that was always talking about getting married and the kids and our future before he asked me to marry him. Now that we are planning, he wants to put everything off and doesn't want to discuss. This drives me crazy. I just have to get him to compromise on setting a date by when a decision will be made and this usually works because he thinks it is on his time table
