I started Weight Watchers on January 3rd and have lost 16 lbs so far!! I am excited. I have been trying not to use my weekly points allowance if I can, but did attend a wedding last weekend and use all my weekly points on that one day and the food was great. I am drinking all my water and eating my veggies and fruits. I would have to say execising has been very helpful. My church is doing a fitness challenge that start mid jan thru April 11th and my group works out twice a week and will start three times a week next week! I am excited and should be looking fine by July 28th.

I finally made the reservation at the Little Chapel of the Flowers for my wedding yesterday. I started chatting with a wedding planner and ended up booking right then because every questions I asked was answered and she was very helpful in making suggestions for things that I wanted.

Congratulations. We are getting married in Las Vegas on July 28th at the Little Chapel of the Flowers. I finally reserved the chapel yesterday and spoke with one of their wedding planners. The process was very easy and the packages were very reasonable. We are on a budget and were looking for the most economical package while also having it be beautiful and wonderful. We are going to have about 20 guests come to Vegas to celebrate with us. We are still undecided about where we will go for lunch afterward since our wedding will be in the morning. We want it to be fun and have narrowed it down to Firefly or Kahunaville @ Treasure Island. I have changed my mind so many times. The whole process of planning a wedding in Vegas is not very time consuming (I guess that also depends on the size of your wedding), but we are going small and I haven't felt any stress!!!

I am getting married in Las Vegas and we didn't try to hold a block of rooms. Most of the people coming expressed interest to stay in several different places so we didn't bother trying.

This is not so much advice, but I have chosen to go with Chapel of the Flowers for my wedding ceremony in July. I really enjoyed their website and seeing a lot of the ceremonies that were broadcasted. They should be very reasonably priced for just the two of you.

I will be a July 2009 bride and trying to lose at least 20lbs before then. I was on Weight Watchers over a year ago and lost a little but started slipping and didn't get back on track. I just need to stay motivated but I am ready to start again! Help me stay motivated!

I just went to a Weight Watchers meeting today to join. I was on WW back at the end of 2007 for a few months and lost some weight but fell off track. My wedding is in July 2009 and I needed to get back on track and made the move today. The Momentum program is really not different from the Flex Program they had before - pretty much the same. Tomorrow is my start date! I am ready.

I just received the Oriental Trading catalog and saw some things I would like to order too.

I sent save the date cards to several people a couple of weeks ago. I plan to only send formal invitations to those that are definitely going. For the people that are not able to make it, we will have our ceremony broadcast LIVE on the Internet which is part of the package we are using at the chapel we chose.

I would classify 3 as bridesmaids and 1 as maid/matron of honor.

I think I am going to do FireFly. Right now, that decision is at 80% with Pampas still in play at 20%. I didn't talk to anyone at Cheeseburger as my fiance didn't really want to go there!

There is a Grand Luxe here in Dallas,TX and it is really good. It was one of our options, but I think we are going to go to FireFly and have it be more casual & fun!

My suggestion would be to have them pick one of the styles you have chosen but keep them all the same color! I have seen that before and it still looks good. Only if you like that though, if you want them all in the same dress then given them options and let them decide together which they will choose.

I don't think that is strange. That's a good idea especially if you have two ladies and can't make a decision about which to choose.

The Happening is not worth it. It's one of those movies where at the end you go, WTF!?!! I haven't seen The Strangers yet, good luck with that one.

Those are good pictures and I had never thought about the Tropicana. But I believe my decision has been made about the chapel I will be using in Las Vegas.

I am having sort of the same issues but have definitely made up my mind. If it is very important for you to have your family there, then I think you should try to come up with some type of compromise like you stated having something in your state. We discussed ahead of time about the possibility of family not attending and decided we would be ok with whoever decided to come even if our family did not. Fortunately for me, my family is excited about going to Las Vegas, but his mom & dad are saying they can't come! Not sure what their final decision will be but we are going to Vegas - even if it's just the two of us.
