I used Glamsquad702 for my hair & makeup. I also got married at Chapel of the Flowers. The person that came to do my makeup in my room the morning of the wedding arrived on time and did an excellent job. I got the airbrush makeup and must say that I am glad I did because it held up well in the heat of 100+ degrees and looked great in my pictures. They were also very reasonably priced!!!

I'm glad things are beginning to work themselves out for the two of you. Keep communicating and you should see the progress.

Going to the post office is extremely frustrating!! Why during peak hours like lunch time when people need to get in & out do they only have 2 people working with 4 other counters unattended & a line of about 15 people. It's like they do not care nor do they try to move quickly to help you. They are exactly like the DMV!!

Definitely just ignore the contact requests from the exes and try your best to put them out of your mind. Like someone mentioned, they are an ex for a reason. I have not had this situation happen to me because I have moved around a lot and haven't had many around to bother me. And they shouldn't contact me because once it's over for me...it's over!!! No re-dos!! : )

Most women would have the same initial reaction as your had so you should not feel bad for that. You should have told him how you felt initially when it happened so that you two could discuss the situation and how it made you feel. The fact that he didn't take the time to let you know they would be a little late "talking" is inconsiderate of your time since he asked you to pick him up at the normal time. I probably would have gone in there to see what was going on after about 15 minutes especially since you say he was always done around the same time all the time. Just make sure he understands how that made you feel and if you feel very anxious about the whole situation, maybe you should write some thoughts down so you say everything you want to say when you two talk tonight. That might help.

sorry you have to listen to that, but does the relative understand that they do not have to come. You do not want people there that will complain the whole time & try to put a damper on your wedding experience. Like someone mentioned, when they understand that your plans are not going to change, then they can get with the program and make plans to come or stay behind. Everyone has to make the decision that is best for them and understand that the wedding will still go on.

We decided to push our home search back until after our wedding. We were going to look for a house & get married but due to our budget, we decided to wait a few months after our wedding to purchase a home. We got married in July & will start looking for a home in a couple of months so that we could space things out. We are making it work right now in our 1 bedroom apartment but I will be glad when we move.

I'm glad you found what you wanted. You will probably be happier with that decision anyway to buy vs. rent. At least you wouldn't have the headache of trying to find something that you really loved for that special day.

Chapel of the Flowers - Wedding was great!!! GREAT EXPERIENCE AT CHAPEL OF THE FLOWERS!!! I am back from my wedding as Mrs. Woods. Chapel of the Flowers was GREAT!!!! If you are thinking about having your wedding at a chapel that is not located in a hotel/resort, then Chapel of the Flowers should be your choice. Everything went as scheduled with no complaints. On the day before, my fiance & I went by the chapel to see it for the 1st time so we would be prepared the next day for the wedding. We signed a few papers, gave them our marriage license and they confirmed everything for our wedding. We were glad we picked this chapel because it looks soooo much nicer than most of the other chapels in the area which put a smile on our face for our decision. On our Wedding Day - the limo driver called us in our room on time & picked us up exactly when he said he would. When we got to the chapel, our photographer was there to immediately start taking photos until the end - Photographer was great! They escorted us into the chapel to meet with the receptionist who gave us our flowers (Flowers was just as I had ordered) and we signed the marriage license - all the while the photographer was taking photos. We then were able to speak with the minister for a few minutes while they seated our guests into the chapel (They were really accomodating to our guests & provided water for $1 b/c it was about 105 degrees!!! - they were thanksful). Our ceremony started on time, the minister was great. After the ceremony, they took our guests outside to wait at the gazebo so we could take some pictures inside. Once done inside, we took more pictures outside & then took some with our guests. We went back 2 days later to view our photos. We were only going to get about 30 pics that were included in our package but because the pictures were awesome - we got them all which included 150+ 4x6 prints, CD with pics in color, black & white & sepia, and a CD with photo slide show. We also have a DVD of the ceremony. We did a lunch reception at Pampas Brazilian Grille which was also very good. Everyone enjoyed the food & the service was great. They even made a wedding cake for us!! Chapel of the Flowers is a great location & they have packages to fit any budget. We used Bell Transportation & rented a mini bus to get our guests to the chapel & to the lunch reception. They were great as well & picked up our guests on time. __________________

I was going to suggest Firefly - they have a package for a group that's all you can eat. I have never been there but have been to a tapas restaurant here in Dallas but I hear Firefly is really good. Also, if you like Cheesecake Factory - you might also try Grand Luxe that is located at the Venetian & Palazzo. The Grand Luxe here in Dallas is awesome - food is great.

Congratulations. I am sure you will be able to find the best location for you two. I am getting married on Tuesday at Chapel of the Flowers. It fit our budget and is simple & classy for us. There is a lot to choose from and I am sure you will find a lot of good information here.

I think it is interesting how they split them up this year into cliques. It will be very interesting to see how Jesse is received in the house because I think other groups will rally together to try to get him out of the house. Which clique do you think will make it further? If I had to guess right now, I would say the Popular group.

I don't think it is up to you to provide transportation. I just decided to provide transportation for my guests because we aren't getting married on the strip and it will be hard to find transportation back to the reception site since taxi's do not regularly come to the chapel. However, I am telling them they have to meet at a particular hotel where most of the guests are staying so they can get on the mini bus. Then if they happen to provide their own transportation to the chapel, they will have a ride back on the mini bus.

If anyone is interested and trying to decide where to have their wedding in Las Vegas, I just found out that Chapel of the Flowers has a show on TLC tonight 10pmET/9pmCT. It is some reality show that is following 2 couples before their wedding. It might be interesting.

Well, I am having my bridal shower & bachelorette party tomorrow - 2 separate events that is being hosted by some ladies in my group. Well, the hosts invited everyone in the chapter to the bridal shower but not everyone was invited to the bachelorette party that evening - we wanted it to be a smaller group. I got a text message from one of the ladies not invited to the bachelorette party saying "hey, i didn't get invited to the bachelorette party, LOL" I didn't know how to respond because we talk when in group setting but not that close. I let the host know & she sent her an email letting her know that we didn't want the group too big because it was at someone's house - which is true!! well, her response was "ok" but then later "I guess I didn't make the cut"! Do you think we were wrong for not just inviting everyone? I don't think it is that serious. I am sure she has had events & not invited me to them on numerous occassions, but I guess some people like to be involved in everything!!!
