Jaime, we had an awesome time! It was so great to meet you and Martin and your dad - his work is wonderful! The gallery is amazing, and very spacious. Everyone there is so nice, and it was great to meet a few of the artists. Congrats on the sales! Maybe we'll get to hang out more at another event down the road.

My FI and I are currently looking for airfare as well. We are going next April and r/t from DFW will cost about $725 each.

Yeah, I had the same problem printing on an inkjet. Then I went to kinko's and printed a sample on their Lazer Copiers and voila, no smearing. So definitely Lazer Printer and or Copier is the way to go! A couple of the places I have found with lazer copiers include: Kinko's (well... FedEx Office now) UPS store Office Max Office Depot Staples.

Alright, it has been a month and a half and I feel like I haven't made any progress! Someone give me a swift kick in the pants!!! So here's my update: 1. Made a deposit with the location 2. Sent STD's and designed Invite (the prototype looks awesome!) 3. Created wedding website 4. Hired a travel agent (TA Jennifer) 5. Narrowed down venue for AHR 6. Sent color swatches to Bridesmaids BTW: I think I may still be the most behind April bride there is!

I broke down last night... the FI decided he wanted to do pizza and a movie. I was being good; sitting next to that mouth watering pizza eating my salad. But I broke; I ended up eating three slices... well not really whole slices... I kinda just ate a few bites of pizza then ate off all the toppings! LOL... hopefully that won't show too badly on my weight loss progress.

Yeah, my coordinator quoted me about $80 for some bouquets around the "altar" and about $25 each for aisle decor (which I was planning to double the use as centerpieces for the reception). I have been considering having fake bouquets sent down instead, but haven't decided yet.

Riley, I may need to try that method! I have been avoiding looking at dresses until I drop a few, but maybe if I start looking it will be that extra bit of motivation I need to succeed!

Well, I am working on a bit harder goal... about 60lbs by wedding time... wish me luck! That averages about 12lbs per month or 3lbs per week. When you break it down like that, it doesn't seem so impossible. So... I have been expirementing with my holiday cooking lists. Making "healthy" versions of all the food I love to munch on. I even found a really great Healthy Banana Bread Recipe. Anyway, Thanks for starting the thread! Can't wait to hear what the other ladies are doing and share suggestions!
