My reception was held in the room that overlooks the ocean, it is a large covered patio/foyer... it was windy so the tables were pushed back
I had about 30 guests
I provided all the decorations, except for the flowers
We rented speakers... we made different playlists on our ipod

we just used them for the reception. they had speakers for the ceremony. we had to use a mic because it was so windy.

Lindsey, what did you use the speakers for? Just for ceremony or reception too? I need them for reception so i don't know if I need the whole sound system... if you only used speakers
our welcome dinner was at 6:30 and we had about 20 people for that. some of our guests had not yet arrived. Veronica made itinerarys for all of my guests and put them in thier oot bags to let them know what was going on.
we only used the speakers. the ipod plugged into the speakers.
i brought 3 suitcases as well as 2 carry ons. we had t-shirts made for our oot bags so they took up alot of space, as well as all of the decorations.
veronica and i really started making decisions the week before the wedding. she would email me a couple of times a day to ask me questions. i did not have bridemaids so i used the flowers for the reception table. i used the other photographer also, even though i had my own. i figured it couldnt hurt to have more pictures. also, the price seems to change when you get there. when i got there she told me a dj would only be 250 dollars. also she had quoted me a price for speakers ahead of time which was 200 dollars. i told her no. then when we got there it was only 75 dollars for the speakers.

we picked one meal choice. then veronica asked if any of our guests had any special requests, and they could have something else. everyone thought the dinner was delicious!
I had 26 guests. my ceremony was on the beach and it did not feel private... there were lots of people watching. the reception was on a patio area next to the lobby over looking the ocean, it was very private and looked beautiful.
i had a violinist for the ceremony and the mariachis for cocktail hour.
my welcome dinner was at agave, the mexican restaurant. we had our own room and veronica set all of that up. she even made little menus that said nic and lindseys welcome dinner... very cute.
the spa did my hair... but not my makeup... i loved my hair. i wore it down with curls. no veil
my bouquet was beautiful. small white iris's.
there are not decorations for the reeption, so i brought my own
the cake was delicious. so was the dinner. we had stuffed chicken.
the rest of the food at resort was gross.
veronica was great... i have no complaints about the day
