I really hope we have less people. Ouch!!! I think that $16,000 for the venue is a bit steep!!! Jess
  2. I'm trying to decide on the honeymoon location. I am torn between Bali or Greece. I would love to hear you feedback. Thanks, Jess
  3. I love your teaser pics. I'm glad that you were able to still have a beautiful wedding despite the change in venues!!! It all worked out at the end. Jess

(2) Is anyone having an adults-only reception, and how are you handling this? My FMIL has offered to help with a nanny for that night, has anyone considered this? I'm wondering. PS. MegaShay -- your welcome dinner invites make me want to go to your party right now for a margarita! Josie -- your mom is so sweet to help out with invites -- it's so nice to have someone take that off of your hands! They turned out beautifully! I am requesting that guests RSVP a month and half before the wedding. I need to make sure that I give myself enough time to get a final head count for rentals and food. I'm allowing guest to bring their children but providing babysitter during the reception so the adults can enjoy themselves. I really don't have many guests with kids so I only expect about 5 kids max. Jess

  6. Hello November Brides, I am getting married on November 14th at Dreams Los Cabos!!!! OMG, I can't believe it's only several months away. At this point, I have almost everything booked and I'm just waiting to decide if I should hire the fire dancers for the reception. I just order my invitations from Wedding Divas. I order the invites in Chocolate. They should be getting here by the second week of July. I have requested for guests to RSVP by October 1st. Here is a link: Rich Floral Signature White Wedding Invitations I'm starting to have wedding nightmares!!! Jess
  7. I recently attended a wedding in Panama where they had dancing during dinner. At first, I thought this was a bit odd but it worked out great!!! It help everyone get in the mood and before I knew it the dance floor was full of people. Jess
  8. I don't think that there is a problem with this especially since it's family. I'm sure that they will just be happy being part of the celebration!!! Jess
  9. We are paying for the bridal party attire. I have 5 bridesmaids and I picked out a simple A line dress from Dessy that is about $150. I am also getting them small necklaces like the one worn by Megan Fox in Transformers that cost about $50. My bridesmaid insisted that they pay for thier attire but I didn't feel right paying for the tux's and having the girls pay for their dresses. At the end, we could afford it so I thought it was a nice gesture on my part since they will never wear the dresses again. Jess

OMG!!!! I thought 5 was a lot. How many people are you expecting at your wedding? Jess
  11. That dress is made for you. Is it a casablanca? Jess

  17. Do you think that it would be tacky if I just made the harbor the meeting place as opposed to providing transportation? Jess

Then after thinking about it so more, I decided to do the private tour because it's more intimate and I just wanted to share the boat with people I knew. Jess
  20. Liz, it sounds as though you have mostly everything planned. Good for you!!! Your wedding sounds like it is going to be amazing!!! Jess
