I have invited a few coworkers, just those that I have become close to. I would want everyone from my departmet there, but then again, thats just me.

We will legally be married here in states 1 yr before the actual wedidng in Mexico. So, for us, its the same date!.

I am not sure if this is the same thing.. but I filled out paper work from Dreams regarding the wedding, location, and reception back in Feb. 09. My TA called me yesterday and mentioned that the WC (natalia, i believe) would be emailing me next week so that we can go over where I want to have the reception, wedding location, etc. So, not sure if I should even really give much weight to this.. but I will ask the TA and WC how likely this is to change, as the wedding date is 1 yr away.

I work and live in alexandria. I know there are some really nice hotels close to the King Street Metro and Eisenhower metro (within walking distance). Also, some hotels have a shuttel service to the pentagon city metro, or others. When I first moved here, I stayed in arlington, and the hotel had a shuttle to the closest metro. I would suggest alexandria (old town or near kingstreet) due to the metro and the free trolley that runs to and from the waterfront. But I am sure, you may be able to find other hotels that may offer a shuttle service. Close to King street metro: Embassy Suites, Residence Inn (alexandria), Hilton Alexandria, Hampton Inn (old towne alexandria),Wydham oldtown alexandria, Westin Alexandria. These are all within walking distance to the King street metro and/or offer shuttel service I believe. Close to Eisenhower metro:Holiday Inn Alexandria; Residence Inn at Caryle, Courtyard Alexandria HTH BTW: King street and Eisenhower are 1 stop away, literally 2 min. train ride.. I ride it everyday on my way to work.

So i ready to confess: I too don't really want my father to walk me down the isle. I would prefer my mother to do so. I have a good friend that makes my skin cringe!!.. I mean she works with me now, and has even moved across the street from me. idk sometimes i feel like im in the movie single white female. I am pissed that my father has not called me in 2 months.. I am tired of always having to call him. My boss is pushing me to take another promotion, but I am not sure if I am ready for it. Not the money, but the work. I hate eating out with a certain friend, her and FI always share plates.. thagt really embarasses me. Who the hell has to share a plate at red lobster!. the prices are low enough!..
