You mean the song you walk down the aisle to?? We're getting married in Hawaii so we're thinking something kinda Hawaiian but with meaningful Hawaiian lyrics. But I'm also in loved with Jason Mraz "I'm yours" such a sweet sweet song. And I love the beat of the song from the movie 50 First Dates!! Love that song and that song has meaning to us behind it!

I'm having the hardest time with the timing!! How did you guys manage the time with the date?? For example, ceremony at 11am?? Followed by pictures?? Followed by dinner, dancing, toasting?? Did you guys ever take a break from the wedding?? I remember when I was younger my Uncle got married at 11 am. Then the families took pictures. Then there a break and the bride and groom went out and took their own pictures together for their wedding and the guest just did whatever in the mean time. Then we all meet up at like 6 pm for dinner. How did you guys pick long to eat, dance, toast, etc and the order they came in? I'm having a hard time with this part of the planning because I really want to take pictures of just us two during the day at the beach and also when the sun is setting. But how can I do that when there's dinner going on?! Ideas??

We just told people that they aren't obligated to use our TA (because they aren't) and if they decide to book their own accommodations to still RSVP for the wedding on our website so we will have a head count of who's coming regardless. Thanks Debra. You've been so helpful!! If your TA made group rates for hotel and another for the flight, how did she get the prices to show the guest if she didn't have an exact count yet?? (was that confusing??) Thanks!!

Holly Madison leaving Hef for Chriss Angel!
trophywife replied to TammyWright's topic in Celebrity Gossip!
I love the show and seriously don't want her to leave Hef for Chris. Aghh!! She just seemed so in love with her Puffin and it's sad that he just wasn't as into her as she was into him. -
I've never been to any destination wedding so I'm needing help. I didn't even know whether or not we were suppose to pay for everyone but I heard from everyone that I asked that I don't do that (or man everyone would come!!). So my question is, should I have all my guest go through the same travel agent?? I think it'll be much easier for everyone and much more organized and if they have to do deposits then I think I will get a better idea on how many people are coming. Or should I just let them try to get their own deals on flights and hotels etc?? What did you do?? What do you think is the easiest and best option for my guest and us. Thanks ladies!!

Your photos are great!! I love the floating candle idea!! I'm thinking plumeria for mine so I guess I'll have to see what that looks like. Or white orchid. -
Hey ladies, I'm confused so I hope you can all help me. First off I've never been to any destination wedding and I'm planning on getting married in Hawaii. I've always thought the traditional wedding invites and save the dates were beautiful (it's all I've ever known of!) But ever since I came onto this site and I saw all of your cute creative invites (passports and plane tickets) I'm totally wanting to do them!! I don't think they're as traditional "elegant" looking but I think they are so cute and fit with the destination theme!! It's fun and a great way to tie in all the elements that are helpful with a destination wedding such as activities to do, weather, where to stay, etc. What do you think?? Tradition invites (and STDs) or a fun (and helpful informational) passports and plane tickets invites?? TIA!!

I'm not pregnant but we decided on some names... If we have a girl friend we'll name her Reylene Lily. (pronounced Ray-lean) My DF's name is Rey Jr. so it's to honor him. If we have a boy first we're not sure if we'd name his R.T. (Rey Third) because we're not a fan of having the word "The Third" tacked on. Still pending.. And if we have another girl we'll name her KariLynn Grace. (Kari is my Mom's name and Grace is his Mom's name.)

Took me 9 months to finally realize we wanted to get married for sure in Hawaii. We had gotten engaged there so there's meaning behind getting married there. However we live in San Francisco area so most of our friends are here. And my family is back in San Diego and I grew up there so that was also one of places to chose from. San Diego vs. Bay Area vs. Hawaii. Hawaii obviously won. Good luck sweetie!! When you find the right place, you'll know!! Congrats!!

DF parents and me just didn't get along for almost a year. I wasn't welcomed in their home, and I just didn't care. Why would I enter someone's home that I didn't get along with?? Just didn't make sense. Anyways, I stood my ground and wasn't going to let them run our love through the ground. DF stood beside me showing the world that I am his and he is mine and we're not going anywhere. We were going to continue to love each other and be together forever. I never went to his family's house and he rarely was there too. They soon realized they were losing their son because he would rather be with me at my place and with my positive family rather than being there, so almost a year later they invited me to dinner and as time passed we worked things through and now his family loves me and I adore them. (all while walking on egg shells though) And things are great, I believe us working through this hard time has really made us all as a family stronger. I know things are rough sweetie. But don't let anyone get in the way of your love. You two are going to be so wonderful together!! I wish you two nothing but the best!! Times are rough but I know things will get easier for you!! Congrats!!

Last year I made the costume for DF and I. We were cave people and I can't believe how I made our costumes in 2 hours prior to the party and the total cost was only like $11! I'd show the pictures but it's really "sexy". Haha.

If you do decide to chop it, do it soon so you have time to play with it. PS love the dress! She took the words right outta my mouth!! But I do agree with others, you do look great in both hair dues though I'm liking the longer hair a bit more. But whatever you do, you'll still be hot!!
