    Leah - thank you for the great review of the Melia!! I'm getting married there in November and I think we'll be using the garden gazebo, because I want a little more privacy. Did you happen to see the new beach gazebo? Does it offer much privacy? I thought it might be a good mix of "beach atmosphere" with privacy - what do you think? ~Erin

    We chose November for a couple reasons - we got engaged in December and we wouldnt be able to plan it quick enough for spring 09 and I didn't want to wait until Spring'10. Plus, we both live away from home and we figured if we got married in November, we could have our AHR in December when we are home for Christmas! We have had lots of people ask "why November" too - I think because when people think of heading down south, they often think of going in spring.

    Your video is awesome! I love the bits when you are in town with the doggy and the old man in the window - and the little band that showed up -awesome! It looks like you had so much fun in the pool and the ocean "trashing" your dress!!

    I was thinking about this too -but I think I'll skip setting something up at the DW. Like the other girls said, if anyone brings a card, they could give it to you the next day.

    Hi - I would put the actual start time on the invititation. People should know to get there in time! As for the dinner why not put: Seafood dinner to follow (Kindly advise if you require a different option) By saying "require" you are basically saying - this is what we are having, unless you absolutely can't eat it!

    Hi! I'm having my wedding reception on the La Barcaza in November! I'm SUPER excited and so are all my guests. I'm so happy to hear that you think it was nice for a reception. We have it booked from 4 - 7 (sunset) but I am wondering if I should extend for an extra hour?? Any thoughts on that? Do you think 3 hours is enough time for some mingling, dinner, then speaches, special dances and some par-tay-ing!?
