One month to go...and we just had a HUGE fight!

I gave Chris similar tasks that he was responsible for. His outfit, his GM's outfit and gift, loading the ipod with tunes and playlists, and getting us to/from the airport. He was REALLY good at doing those things, because it was things he had interest in and KNEW he could take care of with minimum fuss. Remember, boys will always be boys, wanting to play rather than do work, so we should make it as easy as possible on their simple little brains! Thanks for that! I seriously am taking note right now.. my FI is the exact same way, and says he wants to help.. but deep down inside I feel like he just wants to say that, but knowing that I'll end up coming to the rescue if he slacked on it. :-/ I gotta set the ground rules! haha -

hey darlin.. the way i look at it is: you are way stressed, and he is too! i think it is PERFECTLY normal.. and really, don't believe that there is truly anyone out there that has had a relationship without having a huge fight. it's how y'all will learn more about eachother! my FI and I had a blow out about 1 week before our "first wedding date" (we pushed back our wedding because of the stress of dealing with my masters program)..at the time i was thinking, "sh!t! i cant believe that i would have been marrying this a$$hole in one week!!" but looking back, it was REALLY good for us! you need to learn how your FI fights, and he needs to learn how you do, so that when you fight in your marriage (because face it.. it most likely will happen from time to time) then you know that you'll make it through it! If you are anything like me (stubborn and proud) you dont want to apologize (you most likely did nothing wrong, because you are perfect...like me!)..but sometimes, thats all they want to here.. so if it helps, I say go over to him and say hey,..I'm sorry about that fight. I love you so much,.. we both just are so stressed right now, but I want you to know that there's nobody else I'd imagine spending the rest of my life with.." chances are, everything is gonna be just fine! good luck!! -

How much is your wedding costing you?
sstotz replied to BeautifulBridetoBe's topic in Wedding Etiquette, Traditions, to dos
We've set a budget of $10,000 (without any parental help), and I have an additional $2000 saved to just go all out in Cabo (swim with the dolphins, , excursions, massages, etc)! Very realistic! (My JCrew wedding dress was just bought new with tags from ebay for $50!! ..saved over $300 there!) -

I confess that I did the EXACT same thing.. My period ended two days ago.

K--in my cheerleading days I found that dirty hair curls best.. so with that in mind, try spraying each individual clump before you curl with a lightweight hairspray (heavy hair spray means droopy curls).. after its all done, do an all over spray, and see if that helps!!

I TOTALLY know your pain!! Just recently that happened to me too.. luckily my hair stylist fixed me up when I went back on break.. I'll never do a die job on my own again!!

Hey ladies!! So about a month ago I finally got my wedding dress shipped to me.. I love it but had mixed feelings about it as an on the beach dress, and many of you thought it'd be perfect.. I just found another dress that I really like, and think it will be the perfect dress for me on my wedding day, so I'd love to try to sell the other one! I got a great deal on it because it isn't a name brand.. and will sell it for exactly what I bought it for.. including shipping. $188.03 I have paypal so it can be a very easy transaction for anyone interested. It is a size 6, and very true to size.. here is the picture:

How many guests are attending/attended your Cabo wedding?
sstotz replied to Glamourina's topic in Destination Wedding in Cabo
We originally invited 150 people.. expecting about 80 to join. Because of the economy, plane flight costs, and other issues, many people were unable to accept our request for them to come to our wedding. Right now we are at about 50, and we get to invite more people that couldnt be on the original "must-haves" list, so it's nice because we don't have to feel bad for not being able to invite some of our friends that didnt make round 1. At first, the travel agent I spoke with told me to expect 90% of invites to accept, but this wasnt the case in my situation! Good luck! -
lol.. this topic scares the crap outta me, but I LOVE IT.. its addicting. I don't think I'm the "spirit attracting" type, but people all around me tell stories.. I was a property manager in Louisville, KY (where Michael and I met while cheering at the University of Louisville), and one of my tenants always complained of her AC unit not working properly.. we would constantly check it and it seemed perfectly fine.. then she came to us and said she woke up to a ghost (dressed in a colonial outfit..no joke) in her room at 4am.. and it had been messing with her AC unit turning it really high (yeah, I was like.. OOKKAAYYYY PSYCHOOO!!).. she did research on it and came back to tell us that apparently the house was the epicenter of what use to be war grounds in the colonial times, and read up on ways to get the ghost out because it was a reoccuring thing.. she told us she asked it what its purpose was, and it turned to her and said "i cant tell you at this time" WTF!?!?! she put salt around the window, and apparently sucked the ghost out, and never had any other issues.. now the paint is peeling on the window from the stupid salt though..lol but this is also the same girl that while we had a mouse problem in the upper units of the 100 year old renovated house, called in and said she heard mice in her unit too... but she had pet mice. i believe shes just crazy. ----- also, while in Cancun on my senior class trip, one of my roomies woke up to a mexican woman in the corner of the hotel room with her little children on her lap looking sad.. she woke up the girl next to her and she saw it too.. I was a little too intoxicated and never woke to see this, so I like to believe that they were just halucinating or something. lol ----- michael, my FI, told me about his house growing up in Houston, and how there were always paranormal events that would take place within the home (the feeling of not being alone, noises, etc).. one night his parents were fighting, and his mom went into the bedroom to lay down while his dad went and tried to clear his head by watching television in the living room... she was pushed aggresively while she was on the bed (lights were out), and yelled at "him" for being such a jerk.. he called out to here from the living room asking what the hell she was talking about. she turned on the light and nobody was there. craaaaaazyyy..

FI doesn't like lip gloss/color - what to do wedding day?
sstotz replied to nicoleandscott's topic in Beauty, Exercise, Diet
sloan-- I am right there with ya! he can suck it up! lol.. Michael hates kissing me with gloss or lipstick on but I'm sure he'll understand on our wedding day! The thought never even crossed my mind! -
totally! all I am going to do is buy the iron on paper, and print my logos on it.. then cut them out, place them on the bags, and iron over them!! i did this in high school and college for a lot of our events we use to do, so it is easy enough to do! on a side note--Rob&Sue have GREAT ideas for the OOT.. I've decided to buy water down there and preprint personalized water labels to put around them and put in each bag..
